Best 3G HSDPA phone at this price, am using it since may 2011, its very nice, no software damaging & hanging problem like Nokia. it even supports full 8GB SD Card with out any problem. 3G is much fast. front camera is also good. its main VGA camera is equal to Nokia's 1.3 0r even 2 MP camera. Music player gives 3D sorround sound even Dolby 5.1 Channel. Support almost all apps. as per its display size. One can use it as modem also. Live TV is also supported, Youtube videos plays without pixel formation. The Switching off problem as per my friends review given below is due to download of untrusted apps, games and software that does runs on JAVA MIDP 2.0 or not asper 128x160 pixels. Its a best buy phone..... Note: Samsung uses Propietary software not S40....

hi, can anyone please tell if without 3G activated, can we run youtube on it. i tried youtube without 3G activated, but it just does not work? how to watch youtube on this phone?

Anonymous, 07 May 2012It will support the java apps downloaded from - wap.inAll java apps download from wap.in can not supported. I think your comment is virtually posted reading from specification. Now I used it with a sony ericsson.

hey guys samsung hero 3g is great mobile phone.i love with it.i can watch youtube videos easily.use qq browser in this handset its perfect. its battery life is good. superb mobile by samsung at low cost.

it has a restarting problem. it restarts if u r playing the music,texting and while using the net and it also hangs while opening the music player and is very slow
