To be able to download stuff (ringtones, picures etc) on the phone you must set your phone to do so. You should contact your phone company, they will (usually) send you via sms the codes you need to do so.

hey. I recently got this fone but theres 2 things i want to know.
1) Is there anyway u can keep the normal texting mode on? eg. not using predictive txt.
2) Anyway to turn of all the info tones? LIke when u send a msg, or theres no messages in the outbox etc.

I really like this phone and have been wanting a flip and camera phone 4 ages!!! It's got some good reviews but some bad. So do i get it or not??? Plz help?!?!?!

I got this phone for my birthday and its a great girly phone! I dont get beeps when i charge it and i like the sound it makes when it sends messages, unlike most of you. Its not very technological but its a great phone for people who dont do video messages and stuff, just the basics. I think for a cheap phone its great and it looks expensive! Girls, get this phone x x x

Nice phone. It lokks gr8 and is easy to use. Two probs tho.... 1) Everytime you send a message it plays a tune which is really annoying (especially if ur txtin in lessons or in the middle of the night). If ne1 knows how 2 turn this off plz let me know!
2) If u want 2 use T9 mode for txting u have 2 change it everytime u begin a txt. If ne1 knows how 2 make it use T9 automaticaly then again, plz let me know!
If i'd known about these problems before, i wouldnt have bought this phone!

Oh, and I'd like to add that you CAN have vibrate and ringtone on at the same time :)
Also, I'd love to know how to turn off the 'sent message' ping, but I guess it doesn't bother me too much & I'm really beginning to think that there is no way to do it!

I bought this phone in May and it's fantastic. It's nice and small and light - it's rubbish what everyone's saying about there being little battery life as I use my phone a fair amount and I'm getting on better with the Samsung than with my old Nokia. The camera could be a little better, but heck, it's a cheap enough phone & it's better than a lot of cameras I've seen out there. The quality of the zoom isn't very good, mind you, but the flash is extra handy stuff.
Also, another drawback is that there's no data cable included & I seem to be getting mixed messages about which data cable's needed to connect it to the computer. Bluetooth would be helpful here, but I have a disliking for it. One way to do it is to send the picture to a friend who doesn't have a picture phone - they recieve a link to a website and can then save the picture. A mess on, but it's fine if you've just got one picture you really want to share with someone.

I believe the cover screen always go off.
There shouldn't be a continuosly beep while chargin? I certainly did not have that problem when chargin my phone for the first time.
Does anyone know how to turn off the tone when sending text msg?

It's a stylish looking phone, but it has way to many flaws!!! Had I known about this I wouldn't have bought this phone!!! I absolutely hate all those sounds you can't turn off, eg the sound when sending sms. Argh... :(
Don't buy this phone. There are better phones out there with better sounds and pix!

this fone iz GR888888888888888888 it's got all you need, it's excellent very practical ok battery life i use it mainly for txting and the odd fone call as im at uni and i onlty charge it evey 3-4 days. i've had it 4 monthes not a single problem the camera is great especially wit flash really good for those pubs n clubs!!!!!!!!!!! it doesn't hav a video recorder but does hav a short movie feature (1 min)many options wit camera wit it havin different modes and features too nmany too list.this is much better than its earlier models like the e300 etc, the fone has 9mb of memory which is only for ringtones and images. and another tonneof space for fone numbers it ho;lds 1000+ jus on da fone imagine sim too,?? i would reccomend this fone to everyone especially to the people atuni and college as it's a nokia based idea wit all da components and options and in which has been excelled by samsung and much much better fone than any under 150£, it's cheep cheerful anmd ful of surprises.............................. don't delay buy one today.................
