i used my fon e690 for nearly 2 yr n accidently it felt & had stoped working...
it starts but hang on the initial stage...
could it be repaired..????
there is any other way to retrive my fon book 4m it...???

I used to have a phone like this one, a white one. After one year of use, I gave it to my dad who is still using the phone as of today. It is now 2 years and 4 months old, no repair/s whatsoever, still works like a brand new phone. There are a lot of scratches and dents on the housing though.
Very nice phone..
How I wish Samsung would make an upgraded version of this phone..

I have been using this phone for over two years now and it works fine for me. I have dropped it accidentally many times and its so durable. It also has great functions like camera, mp3, video, though not so high quality pictures and video. Its also great because not too many people have this kind of phone, its a kind of a special edition in my country. Great!

1. ... morei know a lot about this cellphone because i use it. yes, there is usb available. u cannot use mp3 as ur message tone but okay with ring tone.

its a perfect phone for some 1 looking for a cheap n in tech wihtout megapixels cam but nice outer look, light weight, small n sleek plus it has really nice screen when de music plays..has been using this phone for almost a year..no prob so far but a tiny reception prob when i dropped it few months ago n sent to repaie..no prob after tat...soft volume but mind u ..is not a music phone but a very good professional looking clamshell phone...i'm using the pink coloured 1 but i would prefer the white..it has fm radio n bluetooth too..bought it for only rm600 with earphone n 1gb sd card..good bargain but heard tat is facing out..no more in market though

In June 15, 2008, my e690 turns 1 year. Still no defect. Still works like a brand new phone. After a year of using the music player and after 1300+ pix using the vga cam. It still works perfectly. Thank you Samsung! ^^

Hello Jayson, I won't be able to compare it with those models accurately. Since, I do not own or have used any of those models. I have a friend who owns a Nokia
5610 though. Based on experience, the 5610 have a higher volume compared to the E690. But, as for the price the 5610 cost more than 2x compared to the E690.
