Samsung E700 info reveals 720p screen, 1.5GHz processor

04 December, 2014

Some more details about the Samsung SM-E700 have surfaced, this time from Samsung itself (through a User Agent profile). The phone will probably launch as the Samsung Galaxy E7 and will be a cheaper alternative to the Galaxy A7 phablet.

The new info reveals 720p resolution for the 5.5" screen (267ppi). The processor will be clocked at 1.5GHz and will use the classic 32-bit architecture instead of something like the Galaxy Grand 3 (a rumored 5.5" phablet powered by Snapdragon 410). Android 4.4 KitKat is the OS of choice.

Previous info (which came from Zauba, an import info site) reveals that the Galaxy E7, or at least one version of it, will be a dual-SIM phone. If the retail price is close to the import price, it will be quite affordable too – it was listed at INR 12,645 ($205/€165).

Thanks to Michel for sending this in!

Who cares? I was talking about the GPU. And who cares if it's 32 or 64bit? There is NO difference in performance. In other words, they have the same CPU/GPU.

it was already stated in the news that this phone will use cpu with 32 bit architecture , so no, this phone won't have the same cpu and gpu as galaxy a7.

Nothing interesting about this phone but it would be interesting if Samsung adds a qwerty keyboard in this phone.
