LEO, the phone blacks out because the phone is saving the battery. If you dont want it to black out (its called LCD DIM)
Goto settings --> display settings --> backlight --> "main LCD on" (make it longer so the screen stays on)
"main LCD dim" (make it longer so the BACK LIGHT stays on longer)
The front OLED is suppose to go black, again to save battery time. Open and close it again, the blue digits will re-appear.

Can someone help me get the mp3 ring tone to ring and vibrate at the same time. I read a comment from someone about changing the format, but i have no idea how to do that. Could someone help me, please =)

I have seen and hold this celphone 5 hours ago and was impressed by it sleek and cute design and has great camera just like the D500 and even better because it has radio, my worry about is its durability...

Hi, please can anyone tell me if this phone has the same problems as the E720 - i.e. voice call quality very low, difficult to make calls - I like it, but I do want to be able to call people! thanks x

Hi to everyone. I bought a E730 now but i did not adapted yet.I have a question.Please help me!! After about 5 seconds the OLED screen's light is closed. Is that normal? And another question is: the main screen has blackout ability. Can I cancel it? Is it possible?

does the camera of this is the same as in nokia 6630 which have a sharp/crisp and clear when taking a pic???

anyone use this phone in the US? i love it but want to make sure i won't run into any problems. The GSM network in the US is horrible compared to everywhere else and i know tons of people who are limited to only certain phones with certain companies.

conditional fowarding - this doesnt affect anything, after i see conditional forwarding it connects me to who i want to call.
I also get unknown subscriber, i have asked my provider to send me settings and they havent completely sent me them. They stopped when i texted what brand my phone was. Got no reply/settings afterwards.

Ok everytime i make i call a little thing pops up on my screen for 1 sec or so saying condtional fowarding.. whats it mean? Also when i try to retrive a MMS it gets halfway through and says invalid argument.. Maybe coz i got this phone from the US and i live in aus?? Also can anyone tell me what unknown subscriber is? And just one more thing lol.. I need help to set up my e-mail address.. But i dun have a POP account.. Do i need one.. thanks

Quality: Fine, normal, economy

Get to decide voice recording while video rec: 0n or Off
-On most of the time
Zoom and brightness sound: on/off
-Off because the sound is annoying
default video name, whats the file called instantly when finished recording.
-My phone is on default for that so its: Video
My overall judgement of the E730 recording:
The recording QUALITY is good but the speed is abit dodgey, little lags inbetween each frame. Thanks

What the heck is "DNS ERROR"?? That message always pop up on my phone almost every time I flip open my phone. I'm also wondering, is it possible to go to the MENU while you're talking on the phone? I can't. Does anyone else have these problems?

hey can anyone help me to set up my e-mail account on my phone?? Can u use a hotmail account or do u have to have a POP3 account?
I have tried to do it from the user manual
But don't know how to get the STMP port or server ect ect

ALthough I don't own a E720 but I tested one at a samsung shop and it can record a video @ 640x480.

i installed the software and everything is fine, works and all. but i can't use the options image to phone; melody to phone. i can't even click on those options they are greyed out and unaccesible. they are kind of the reason i bought the pc kit for, so..
any advice?

Ok forget about my last comment.. Fixed it!
But now.. hehe.. Why can't acsess the melody to phne icon or the image to phone icon?? They dun even light up?? What is going on here?

yay!! Just my phone yesterday!! Love it! But one lil problem.. Why won't my my PC read the usb cable.. I have installed the driver and everything else but it just won't detect it! Please help!! Aaaaargh!
