if this phone will be released here in the philippines in color black, then i guess i won't be buying this phone anymore... i still prefer the color silver

lolzz...hahhhaaa...hedy...ur talkin crazy...if u knew how they check standbytime then u would know what ur talkin bout and ur comments wouldnt be here.
standbytime is checked by just turning on the phone and leaving it on! 2-3 days is good for a phone anyway!!
sooo...samsung is tellin the truth...u just dont know how to get to it!
btw...any1 knows if its cheeper to buy this phone in stores in the U.S. or over the net?

I have this phone since 1 week now.
It is already the second one as the first one did not work anymore after I turned it off.
Do I went to the shop and got another one.
Samsung says that the standby time is up to 260 hours but the actual standby time is NOT more than 48 hours or 60 hours at the most !!
If I had known this I would nog have bought it.
And in those 48 hours I telephoned may be not more than 15 minutes and made 2 photo's and did some looking at the menu.
That's all.
Next time it would be wise if Samsung told the truth !! is was known that Samsung standby times are very short but this phone was supposed to be different.
NOT TRUE.

i bought the E730 today lovelly phone! display is great and the camera is awsome. only having problems with the bluetooth it wont send or receive any data! any1 else had this problem yet?

I love this phone. I want this phone.
There are plenty of phones out there with mem cards in that only look diff to this one. You don't have to silly about it. Looks aren't everything you know.

Does the E730 have RING & VIB at the same time?
The reason I got rid of my D500 was strictly because of that reason. NO RING & VIB!!!

Gary, if you want something similar, but with a card slot then get the LG M4410 it's virtually the same phone with expandable memory. To 'The Dark Lord' I will post a review Saturday evening/Sunday morning.

It is available in black to the UK from pixmania.com -where I just bought mine! I love it (although I don't know how it compares to the LG M4410).

Lindsey, what would you suggest as a better phone for the money? Tom, I've just bought mine from pixmania.com for £262, in the much more stylish black colour and it's worth every penny (I have trialed many phones recently -Neonode N1m, SE Z800i etc.) It is a good all-round non 2/2.5G phone.
