Those problems are only for ur phone only.
You can put jpeg/jpg/gif,etc file formats for wallpaper. No problem with the slider and video recording works fine.

The firmware of E840 not stable. After firmware upgrade it's not also stable. 1. Wallpaper can't be changed with jpg image but a jif can be set.
2. Video recording with sound on leaves gaps or blank sound during recording, picture movent also affected.
3. Slider get loose and make a creak at closed position.

I bought this phone a week ago and hands down it's the worst phone ever!
the screen scratches easily, you can't see anything after just 2 days of using it.
i bought an extra battery because i heard of reviews of bad battery capacities, omg i can't believe both of them didn't last me one day!
I traded battery's with my friends phone and his battery barely lasted me 3 hrs.
overall the cons kill the pros and i highly regret buying this phone.

hey
im a great fan of music on your mobile but when i move the songs from MYFILES to MEMORY card the songs dissapear from MUSIC PLAYER. Is there any reason for this ?
it would be greatfull if someone could reply to this

nice phone but confusing and not very user friendly for music. I can't figure out how to transfer music from the MY FILES section to the Music Player and now only 1 song on Music Player and 112 in My Files annoying and still have space avail. but after transfering only 13 songs it says memory full?? Maybe going back to the easy to use Sony w850

i droped my e 800 after owning it for one month screen gone not broke split or cracked just lit up with no colour and as for battery if it lasts you more than a day make some friends....not impressed.

Just recently got one E840.. Good and nice finish.. Only one problem I am facing and that is to up load or down load photos. Even SamsungPCStudio send to phone option also not working. Both Photos and Videos. It says format in competable. I can transfer them to micro sd but can't view it if it is over size. But I think the softwared doesn't support the photos and videos from out side to load in to Phone Memory... Guys please give opinion or solutions for this
