Anonymous, 03 Dec 2007whats the biggest memory card this phone supports?the biggest memory card allowed by this phone is 1G.B (if it's not original don't usse it, it makes problems)
but I preffer 512KB (even if it's not original it works).
it's my best advise on this phone.

marissa, 16 Apr 2008hi someone said they escpecially loved the light feature do... moreyes, there is a light led behind the camera in the front, you can use it when you take photos and videos. and when the phone is closed you can use it as a normal light by pressing the (-) volume .

I have this phone, I really like it, I will reply about the mp3 player: Yes, you can minimise it, and do other things but not bleutooth and camero.

i have one and everybody who see it loves to snatch my phone! but unfortunately, i broke its lcd while i was wrestling with my friends... and so i can't find any repair shop to fix it because its parts is abroad. samsung e870 wasn't released in our country so.. i'm very disappointed and causes me disquiet.

this is just sleek and easy to handle. the portability is a plus for the designers. it has a large enough memory to store my stuff. my only worry is the speaker. u hardly hear any sound in just a little noisy environment. it would have been better if the ringtone signal had a different speaker on the outter.i love this phone

hi someone said they escpecially loved the light feature does this phone come with a light of some sort if so where is it at and does it light up when you get an incoming call and can anyone tell me if you can set an alert to go off every 1 or 2 mintues when you get a voicemail as well as text messages thanks to anyone who answers my questions

hi,seriously this piece ic 2 good nothing t complaint about it.i m user of this piece it is having harware problem and no one is ready to repair this piece,even samsung service centre refused,please suggest me proper place where i cn repair.

wow, so long since someone has commented on this phone!
I got this phone for my bday last year on o2 pay as you go. i only got it because my N73 did not support A2DP (at the time, now does with latest firmware). It didnt come with a data cable or software disc.
Also regarding the memory card as far as I know its 1GB max, as I have put a 2GB and it did not work!
Use it as a spare now, love it,

I so perfect & so sexy! My friends commented on how cute it was and got in trouble for screaming so loud about my phone. I escpecially love the light feature. When I bought mine, to save money, it was used on ebay and the seller suggested that the quality was poor. The only thing that was poor was the scratches but it was in perfect working condition. My advice: buy this phone with no questions asked. Buy a used one and save some money to save $50.
P.S. I bought new housing for that phone and it looks brand new!

Hi claire, the title 878 is just a chinese habbit of putting "8" at the end of any samsung model name, its a lucky number. And also, you are not able to put recordings as a ringtone straight away, u might need to convert it and place it in the "music" folder.

Hi, I was wondering if this phone has an "offline mode", because on the Europe Fun Club website, it says that the E870 has the offline function that can be used on the plane (without receiving any calls). Also, how do you add word/powerpoint documents to your phone and how would you connect the phone to the TV?

ive bought the asmsung 878 recently in beijing . i havent got it yet . but im wondering wat is the differnce between the E870 and 878 .
another query i have is the ringtone . are recordings allowed to be ring tones ?
please reply ASAP. desperate to know .

You'd need to buy a USB lead if your phone hasn't come with one already. They're usually pretty cheap on ebay, have a look there first to see if you can get a bargain. No point in spending a fortune if you're not gonna use it that often.
As for the memory, not sure how big it holds but i'd assume it will take whatever size memory card there is.
