URGENT HELP PLEASE!!!!!
My E870 is stuck on the "Samsung" logo boot screen. Does anyone know how to reset the phone or know where I can find out how to reflash the firmware or reset the phone to factory defaults.. I don't care about deleting whatever data I have inside.. I just want my phone to boot up again instead of being stuck on the bootup screen. I can't even turn it off unless I pull out the battery. Suggestions? Please email me and i'll check this forum whenever possible. thank you so much..

I've got had this phone for about 2 weeks now. Only problems is the fact that it doesn't the the ( ' ) sign when texting. Also the cover for the charger and headphones socket is quite a nuisence, as it doens't come off!
Also i've read that this phone has flight mode? I can't seem to figure out this feature! Correct me if i'm wrong but i can't find this feature mentioned in the manual either?

omg im being to hate this phone. It has really bad battery quality and when u charged it for a while its very hot. It takes forever to completely charge. I recognize people don't buy this phone. If you do you must to play with all the features especially bluetooth and pictures and email messeges.

does anyone know how i can get different clocks for the outside lcd screen? and is there any way to set a .gif as a wallpaper or on the outside screen? when i try it just says not allowed... does anyone know?

If you read previous posts you would know. Dont worry, I had the exact same question and was so sad because I thought I cant change that. But I figured out how. When you select a picture, make sure you zoom it in using the up and down arrows on the side of the phone. Then "set as" main display and it will ask you if you want to view it in "standard ratio view" or soemthing, do not check the box and just "save". And you've got your main display filled with your whole picture.
And about the 2 blue bars, its set like that, I've read that it cannot be changed and I've tried and played around with it, just blue lines.
About downloading music into your mp3. I dont know if your kit supplied you with a usb cable and a Samsung PC Studio software, if it did, upload the software and it's pretty straight forward from there, then you connect the usb cable to phone and computer and I think you know the rest. If not, just read instructions after installing the software. If your kit did not include usb cable and software, I'm sure your local carriers are able to provide you with some. Check those places out.

Hi people!
I am really hoping someone can help me. Does anyone else have problems with the wallpaper function on the e870? I want to set my wall paper to my own pics but they don't fit the whole screen, instead I have 2 blue bars at the top and bottom of the page. However, if I set a photo to wall paper straight after taking it, then its does fit the whole page. Does anybody know how I can change it so all my pics fit the enitre screen whenever? Or alternatively how I can change the colour of the bars that appear at the top and bottom of the screen?
Also I know other people have asked but how do I download music to my mp3 player? I have no idea and I want some music on it?
If anybody knows the answers then i'd be so grateful for an email. Thanks so much!

Do you know how to sms to many without going through the phonebook each time you want to choose a recipient? The only way I know is to go to "options" then "phone book" and select and then back to "options","phone book", select. Don't they have a checklist function?

Well, I've had this phone for about a month now, and for sure, it's not the most-it-has-everything-type-of-phone but something that has the bare basics.
Overall everything is "ok" - like mp3 player, camera/video. However, there is one thing that I dislike which is that the alarm does not let you choose your own ring tone. I found this a tad bit tedious just 'cos of the lack of custimization one is given upon the purpose of the phone. Nevertheless, the design is stunning and simplistic for those who wants a trendy phone.

Can anoybody tell me how I can connect my phone to PC / via bluetooth? How do I get my music onto my phone? Am I missing something, to connect my phone to the PC? I have a USB plug, but it's too big for my phone. I just want to download music from my PC to my phone. Help would be so much appreciated. Thank you, guys.

For anyone looking for bluetooth for this phone, I got the Jabra BT-350 and it worked flawlessly, initially I have an unknown Sony Ericsson and it didn't work at with each other meaning I can't switch from phone to headset during a call.
I also have a sandisk 1GB and loaded with mp3s, before playing make sure you create album so it'll play the whole thing not just one song.

I'm partially sighted, could anyone please tell me how large the text is when you are typing and receiving SMS please? Also Does the small window on the front display a digital clock please?

Regarding the playing the Mp3 from MicroSD it has been explained clearly previously a few pages back. Pls check it out yourself.
