can someone help me? my phone is not allowing me to write on the left side of the screen.i did not drop it or anything. is anyone experiencing this? help!

i just bought the micro sd and tried copying some jpegs to the phone and they do not show up...is there a particular format i need to convert photos to so they work on my phone? what about videos?

I just purchased this phone off of ebay. It is going to come w/ the euro charger and on stylus. Does anyone know what us samsung wall charger is compatible w/ this and if i can use any samsung stylus?

i had this phone 4 a year but i needet the cash so i had to sell it the media player is good the only dislike is you have to add your songs to a playlist and you have only 4 playlists of 30 songs each when i play it 4 more than 2 hours it starts heating up a litle camara is good you can transfer songs from pc to the phone via bletooth

swap the names at your phonebook with surnames, then change the viewving criteria as surnames first, thus u can see the names.

i just got this phone a few days ago...and i love it... the only thing is.. everytime i get or try to send a MMS i always get this "unknown subscriber" thing... wat is that? and how do i fix it?

I really like this phone! The only thing i dont like is it dont have aim!! Do any body know how would i get aim on this phone if possible! And how do i set up my email process? Email the information please!

I got it when it first came out, which is Oct 06...but more then a month ago, my phone buttons stopped working..the screen still works..but its stuck at a cetain screen and cant get out.
I really liked the touch screen feature...but when you speak on the phone..the person you are talking to will hear their own echo which is very annoying.
Also, when you are talking on the phone, you can't go to the main menu which I found not convenient.

just got this phone today after battling over E250 and E898.,i really do think i made the right choice!..this phone is so great..im awe-strucked on most of its features..this is indeed a very adorable phone..so far, so good..havent experienced the probs others here had..i just cant be happier having this phone..it says a lot about my personality..this phone just suits me well..its so ME.,thumbs up to SAMSUNG!..

For those who have problem with name not coming up when SMS arrives. You need to have your phonebook listed by last name, rather than first name. Go to "menu" > "management" > "list by" and choose "last name", and your problem will go away. Your next problem will be that you need to search your phonebook by last name. Solution to that is to write full names of your contacts in only "last name" space and leave "first name" empty...

does this phone have voice clarity on/off feature? compared to SGH-D600 I got.. I lost mine.. so I'm looking forward to try this one with the touchscreen feature.. how much is it in Texas?

Hey. We understand that you had a bad time with your phone, but please don't generalize that Samsung products are a waste of money. You're carried away by your emotions.
And besides, that happened in Thailand.
We have good service here in the Philippines, and i surmise, in other parts of the world as well. Don't badmouth Samsung, please.
Especially this phone, the SGH-E890. I've had an N70 before, and I gladly replaced it with the E890. I find the negative comments here very shocking because to date, since I bought my phone last December 2006, basically I have never had a problem with it. Of course, condoning the light scratches on the screen and housing. And for those people who had lost their stylus, you can but a new one from any techie stores.

I bought this phone in Thailand about 3 months ago and it came with 5 yrs warranty which ones would absolutely need it. Within 3 months, the phone was in the shop to get fixed more than it's been with me. I had to send it in 5 times, each time took 2 to 4 weeks and they still can't fix the problem. The problem is that every so often it would say "limited service" on the screen for no reason what so ever. When that happened you can't receive call or make call until you turn it off and back on again. I didn't have to be anywhere in particular, it could happen where the signal strength is strong. The dealer sent it in the 4th time and Samsung supposedly had changed the board but same problem still happen so I sent it in for the 5th time and Samsung finally agree to return my money which I've yet to received. Other than that problem the phone itself is pretty cool with all the bells and whistles. However, the problem it had couldn't be fixed and Samsung doesn't care enough to keep their customer happy so this is the one and only Samsung phone I and my friends or family will ever buy. If you've read this review I would recommend that you stay clear from Samsung phone. Bad product, bad service, a total waste of money and time and effort.
