to maal:now find the page of e890.Then start to read opinions.There you will see a people named petros.According to Petros say change your telephone settings.i had same problems but now i havent.i hope this is good to you too.

Lols true, samsung fones really have terrible batterly life abt 2 hours of music playin n the battery goes dead not only does the battery life sux, in the samsung d820, if the songs were to be stored into the memory card, THE FONE wunt play the nxt song, so it means dat somehow dis every few minutes, u mus take out ur fone to choose another song that u wish to listen to, and oso theres horrible heat up EG:if u charge ur fone while playin musin usin the loud speaker the fone will heat within a few minutes, so wads the point of gettin a fone wif all dis kinda pathetic function, PLEASE SAMSUNG GOIN SLIM WUN GET U ANYWHERE

Samsung phones are just plain rubbish.....my P310 & this E898 are just two good samples!!!
Very poor battery life and terrible heatup!!! Reception quality became very bad after one month.....the opposite party can't hear me well & vice versa!!!

so which phone is better the e890 or e898 i know the difference that e890 has flash and tv out and less memory while the e898 has the dictionary and more memory so which is a better choice???

caller id is supported by the network so u better ask your network provider what's wrong with it!

I have the same echo problem and by taking the skin off... it does reduce the echoing but not gone completely..
does anyone know how to get ride of it completely??????? if do please help...^^

I agreed, if 2.0MP or above it would be better! But if compare with other 1.3MP such as W550i, this phone is not bad at all especially at night because its ISO feature helps a lot with low night area

E898 supports chinese & have more built in memory 80MB
E890 is english version & only has 54MB built in capacity!

You must have something to cover the mic, that's why other party will hear echo....!!
If you use skin case, then you have cut a little hole for the mic...otherwise there will be an echo issue!
So far this is really a good phone, I like the touch screen & dictionary, also I love the mp4 player which can play full screen....so I can watch one hrs movie on the train when I am the way to work or home.., good phone!! If there is other color option like the x838 & the camera will up at least 2M or above, then this is a prefect phone!

I dont use the flexi-cover at all. This is getting annoying. BTW I called Samsung here in the US and they were not able to help me at all because they dont support this model "it is a non-US model". I am returning the phone tomorrow.

Hey, Mus. Do you use a flexi-cover for your phone? After posting my review, the echo issue (other caller hearing his/her own talking) was gone right after taking the flexi-protective case away from this phone.

I am also experiencing echo issue with this phone being used in US, the problem happened about 2 weeks ago and does not go away. It's a pain for other people talking to me thru this phone, even though I can hear the other callers clearly without hearing myself talking. Anyone knows how to fix it?

Did anyone experience echo (voice) problem with this model. I have E890 and if you read the opinion on it a lot of users experience this problem.
