Samsung Exhibit II 4G gets announced for T-Mobile

26 October, 2011

T-Mobile and Samsung officially announced the Samsung Exhibit II 4G today. It has been barely a few months since the first Exhibit 4G came into being, making this particular device one of the quickest sequels we've seen in the industry.

In terms of specs, the droid offers a single-core, 1GHz Snapdragon CPU and a 3.7" screen with WVGA resolution. A 3MP camera is the main shooter, while a VGA unit at the front will help you with your video calls. T-Mobile's zippy HSDPA connectivity will be present as well. The device will ship with Touch Wiz-ed Android 2.3 Gingerbread.

Visually, the Exhibit II 4G appears to be closely related to the Samsung Galaxy W. We will tell you more about the rest when we get a chance to spend time with the device.

The Samsung Exhibit II 4G will be first available at Walmart on October 27. It will be priced at $29.99 with a two-year contract, after a $50 mail-in-rebate and $199.99 sans commitment - not too shabby for an entry level Android smartphone. T-Mobile will begin offering it in its own retail locations on November 2.
