MK, 22 Dec 2011I got this phone, good one!! T-mobile site says it has 4GB ... moreThe reason you cant find the other GB is that the smartphone only utilizes 3 GB and the other GB is used strictly for the filesystem (like bios) with remainder space incase a new update comes out.

Guys, pls help me with some info.
1. I want to buy this phone from US and use it in India. Will it work in Indian 3G network? Is it a wise decision?
2. Does this phone have FM radio. Its not mentioned in the review.
3. The unlocked version is too costly on Ebay. Plan to get the locked version and buy the unlock code. Would u recommend against this?
4. Y I want this phone? 1Ghz, 3.7 HVGA, Front cam. Is there an alternative to this phone in India, any suggestions?

I just bought this phone 12-16-2011 and I really love the phone but my biggest problem is the battery it's always draining to fast even if i'm not on it.

I got this phone, good one!! T-mobile site says it has 4GB of ROM (i.e. Internal storage ?), but if I check in task manager, it shows - 1 GB for System Storage and 2 GB for USB Storage !.. where is the balance 1 GB :(

this phone has frequency compatibility of BAND I (1700MHz/2100Mhz)
so it will work with 3G in Europe and Other ASIAN country.
u can check specification please.
Only guys from Europe and ASIA need to do manual setting for using GPRS for 2G/EDGE/3G as automatic setting of LOCAL SERVICE provider will show an error because they dont have addded setting into the server as this phone it only US version.

Is "PENTILE matrix" used on this phone's display?
(fake forced pixel count/arrangement that makes browsing small text not as readable as true "RGB" ie. blocky blurry indistinguishable text when zoomed out
This is a deal breaker if you want to browse for extended time

For those of you looking to use this phone outside the USA, the voice features should work since this phone supports all 4 common GSM bands, but the data features (3G/4G/UMTS) will likely NOT work because UMTS Band I (2100 Mhz) which is the most common band used in Europe and Asia is not supported by this phone.

Get the original Galaxy W which this phone was based on instead. It has better specs; a 1.4GHz Processor, 4GB internal storage, and a 5 megapixel camera that records in 720p HD.
