Anonymous, 01 Aug 2012It works on 1700 and 2100 Bands so it should work in India.... moreHow are you using 3G with tmobile, they say it goes to 2g on the prepaid plan after hitting 4g maximum.

From what tmobile told me, this phone is 4g until you reach the limit you pay for then it goes to 2g, not 3G. No one can tell me why? Can I unlock this phone and use on AT&T prepaid plan. 3G unlimited data?

I mainly bought this phone because it has 4G. It works great and have not gotten any issues.

I am using it on US Tmobile and ATT on 3G speeds (HSPA+ sometimes).

M already using this cell in INDIA, works like a charm on GSM network.

But never tested on 3G network or tried to use 3G. as 3G is still costly while u can use ur laptop's internet free through pairing lappy and ur cell VIA WI-FI :)

The Samsung Exhibit II 4G no longer exists. Well, actually it does but since it was having TONS of problems, Samsung decided to do this:

                http://support.t-mobile.com/docs/DOC-4259

The phone will be known as the Samsung Galaxy Exhibit from now on. It seems that the Android version they had installed on the original phone was incompatible with the phones software.

ksrao801, 13 Jul 2012You mentioned that Exhibit II works in India. Do you mean y... moreIt will probably only work on Edge using GSM on 1900Mhz in India unless they have WCDMA on 1700 for "4G" as T-Mobile calls it. It won't work on 3G at all in the Phoenix, Arizona area since it doesn't do HSPA or HSPA+.

AnonD-62274, 09 Jul 2012I believe that the review of the Samsung Exhibit II 4G give... moreThe review is not accurate at all. They say the phone gets 3G and has a 2100 Mhz band but that's not true.
T-Mobile has no 4G service in the Phoenix area and the phone can't get 3G so it useless except on slow Edge or wi-fi.

Everything is kinda there, but... moreThe ExhibitII is not that bad, but I must agree that there is tons of bloatware. Root the phone and it will fly with lightning speed and for the $ it is not a bad phone. Rooting is a must, though because of the amount of RAM and ROM built into the phone.

I am an Android fanatic and this is by far the best android phone I've ever owned. It may not have a huge screen or a dual-core processor, but it's still a high quality product especially in this price range. The only thing I've found it to lack is the amount of RAM available at any given time. High demanding games or applications occasionally cause it to reboot, still a great phone though.
