the only way you can have the mp3 player not showing is if you enable your privacy lock but even then when you swivel the phone closed it asks for your pin so it does not just show the picture, i think this is the only down fall to this handset. if anyone can help me sort it i wud be greatful thanks xx

only way ya can have the time on front of phone.. is if u put a privicy lock on..

GREAT design. POOR battery life! older samsung software. VERY low speaker volume for phone calls and music.

you cant change the front screen, this phone was desgined like a mp3 player.

For GSM, I have seen three colors: pink, purple and blue. I am using the purple one.
In US, I have seen the green color is available from Verizon wireless which is not GSM service but CDMA.

I just bought the new samsung F210! how funky by the way! anyway, I was wondering if anyone knew how to stop the MP3 player screen showing when you swivel the phone shut? Im finding it rather annoying and would just like to see my main screen when my phone is shut! thanks!

This phone is already out.
Costs about €245. Just got one for the wife, she hates bulky phones. Looks good, much better than the x830.

fantastc phone.its better then i thought it would be.its ace to hold cant but it down.still have to but music on it yet.i would also like to know if you can have a picture in display when closed.this phone is the one girls aloud have just launched. very much a girly phone though not recomended for boys.i love it kay

Hi everyone. bought the samsung f210 today its really cute. Im a bit disapointed of the fone when it closes, all you see is the music playing. Iam confusd,does any one know whether i can display a picture when the fone is shut or is that they way its suposed to be???? plz helpp :(

Heyyy Everyone that doesnt know whether to get a samsung f210 ive just got one and before i saw i thought the screen would be too small and that it would be really hard to text but now ive got one and its the same as texting on a normal phone so i didnt have to learn how text again and yeah the screen is small but its not that bad!

I think this is basically the Juke that Verizon is selling, they just kind of made software upgrades to it. Ha but the thing I love most about this phone is that it has a video player. Ha, ha, ha, yeah let's watch movies on this 1.4" screen which already is a bad resolution screen. You're going to have to carry a magnifying glass just to get it to a descent size.
