the post about the two cameras, i think this phone has video calling which explains the small camera in the front, the lg shine has it and some of the nokia phones also have it for video calling.

just bought this phone about 16days ago...when i was in singapore....
like it!!!
even the first time i didn't get used to it..but now..no problem with me..
and the sound quality good enough..
the camera...hmmm 2mp not so bad but no flash..
yes this phone has 2 cameras..one in front and onbe in the back. the front camera not so bad too..
good enough for the price..

Note about that review: not everything applies to the t-mobile german version (the only one currently easily findable). It doesn't come with any game, and the mass storage access is broken (tested on 2 computers). I don't know about other versions, of course.
Considering the samsung support (german or belgian) is useless (sending a phone back to update a firmware? come on), be aware of those problems as you won't be able to fix them easily.
(I think my next phone will be either an open-source one, or a closed but popular & well-hacked one like the iPhone, something that makes you think you own the phone and you're not renting the right to use it from a big company)
My conclusion: the hardware looks & feels amazing, but its use can be really frustrating.

does anyone know if this fone has two cameras.. one in the front and the back? i see a small circle at the top right of the fone when looking at it from the front but i'm not sure what that is. thanks!

samsung phones got very very bad battery life from my experience can anyone tell if this one is the same if ur using it for music purposes ...

I bought myself an F330, a T-Mobile version from germany, the only place I could find it in europe.
I wouldn't recommend it right now, as I have no idea if this phone isn't officially out yet, or simply born-dead. No one seems to announce it. I met some problems with it (mass storage mode not working, no 320x240 video support, french being in the SMS dictionary, but only selectable once as a bug), and it only came with germanic languages, not latin ones.
Samsung's support itself doesn't seem to know much about this phone (yet?), and apparently they don't support firmware updates. I only contacted Samsung belgium, let's see if the german support does know better..
Otherwise it's not a bad phone. It sure does look really good. The sensor buttons are a bit annoying, yet cool too. The UI is nice. Of course, java install is locked (and it doesn't come with any game). The unlocking could have used the sensor buttons, but no, they had to use the only physical button for this(?)
Sound is ok, sliding is smooth, it's small & slick.
It was just to give some info, because it looks pretty hard to find info about this phone (I had read some misleading reviews before buying it).
To answer some questions:
-you can change menu color to white or purple (but default purple is nicer)
-you can set your MP3's as ringtones (I was expecting this to be locked, but it doesn't look like)
-it can play music in the background, but it's done in an annoying way, it's better off
-you can't insert 2 sim cards
-the cam(s) sucks (but you knew that)
The t-mobile version can be found right now on german ebay, for 150-200eur, it's not locked but you'll have to reconfigure some stuff.
And, I don't know much about phones, it's my second phone in 8 years :) (after a lovely siemens ME45, which still works, and is still great)

wow i see ALOT of questions with no one answering any of them, so there for to save me the time of buying a samsung thanks to everyone to post their questions, and thanks to everoyne who didn't answer any of them, i'll stick with my nokia products

Do you guys actually know about Samsung Company.? Everyone knows Nokia is Mobile phone company. however samsung is different with that.! Samsung making lots of others as well. and over 50% of their products they have No.1 Technology in the world. such as Micro chip (D-RAM) and LCD also they do supply Mobile phone CPU to HTC and etc. company. Do you guys know ? that over 30% of Apple Iphone's inside parts are from Samsung.! Moreover, why would samsung copy FAT.-! Bulky Design from Nokia.? Samsung's Design Concept being Slim Factor and it is differnt with Nokia Design Concept.! and for the future 4G(WiBro) technology was Developed from Samsung and all the mobile phone in the future need to use samsung 4G(WiBro) chip. from all of these Samsung being totally Different company as Nokia who just making out side of phone.(inside of phone parts are fully supplied by third party)!

does the video calling only work if the person phone has that capability also? every time I try to use it shows me a fail message. if someone knows this answer please reply back

yes, this phone CAN play music and perform other tasks at the same time..multi-tasking is possible.. ^^
