David, 07 Nov 2009The Samsung F480i is a neat little phone with a great spec ... moredifferent things to different people...you may not like this phone but that doesn't mean everybody else has to hate it too. some like and some - like you, don't. that's just the way it is. that's why there are a lot of different phones that offer different things to different people.....just get another phone.

Still no wifi. Although the screen is now capacitative and no longer resistive.

We've had the phone a week and love it. The screen is a bit sensitive at first. We can't figure out how to add to photo contacts, some names appear but others don't. Help would be appreciated.

When I one day open Gsm Arena I've seen F480i and I was thought that was a joke with F480 but when I open the specification of F480i I see that this was no a joke than a beautiful phone!

The Samsung F480i is a neat little phone with a great spec - so why am I tempted to throw mine in the ash can!
Although I am classed as a 'senior' I am computer literate and modern technology does not worry me. However the touch screen feature of this phone does frustrate me. It is so sensitive that when scrolling through a menu the slightest extra pressure on your finger will open the wrong page. It is difficult to enter a contact into a text message and it is easier to get the contact to text you first so that you can use the 'reply' option. I have had the phone for three months and I am actively looking for a replacement.

This handset lacks several qualities. All the latest handsets at this price come with a Wi-fi, lack of Wi-Fi makes this handset not recommended for advanced users. Also the handset crashes several times while trying to pair a BT handset.
I would defintely not recommend this handset, as the looks are attractive but the stability of the solution inside is poor.
