first install the usb driver before you connect your phone then install pc suit.
now you can connect your phone. i did this and it works perfectly.

I've bought F700v by Vodafone in Greece for 220? three months ago. This phone is simply phantastic. SE and Nokia won't make ever a good phone like this..

In my opinion I dont think Samsung should have made the phone touch screen and + Qwerty keyboard! MAybe it would have been best if they just made it wiz the keyboard,and below the screen navigation buttons, and on and off buttons! And iz der a camera flash? But overall the phone iz good!

own the phone for about a week. still exploring the fx in practical fashion...dn bother to read the manual too cubersome. one thing abt F700, need to use it with a new mindset compared to my previous Sony K700i. i guess bcos it is a touch screen so getting to the exact fx/applications need a few more steps n bcom slower or one may hv to use the key pad meaning 2-hands operation. like i said still working on the handset so maybe there r smarter ways to use it.
It does not hv a 'big' internal memory - just 100M but more than enough for me. anyhow can add a std ext micro card.
one caution, it turns off automatically when entering the airplane n takes quite a while to turn on. so it is better to switch it off yourself or turn it offline before entering.
apart from not having any 'hook' up point for a sling (guess the maker think its too big n heavy), overall im satisfy with it just as my K700i.

I like this phone, I think its modern and beautiful but I seem to have endless problems on MXIT in south africa, can anyone advise me accordingly please? it is slow and gets stuck and takes me about 20 touches on a name to open it...

I have this phone, im very impressed, think the ringtones could be louder. my neighbour has it 2, he has bought a 4gig mem card n film playback is gr8, but he mentiond sumit bout software 2 shrink the files. can b a lil frustratin wen tryin 2 txt on the onscreen keyboard n it jams, but it quikly fixes itself. iv had it since end of april & im that used to txtin on the screen i find it hard 2 use an old button fone. but wen wlkin i find it easy 2 use the qwerty keyboard underneath. i bought a crystal cover 4 it, it interferes wit the bottom touch bottons so waste of 2quid! DONT BUY COVER! lol

go to www.samsungmobile.com it has a section on there where you can configure your phones. hope it helps
