yes i have had that problem.
i get angry at my bf and i want to hang up, but the shortcuts button doesn't work so i have to lock & then unlock the phone, press the shortcuts key then hang up. it'd be easier if this phone had a pick up & hang up button instead of it all being touchscreen! but overall, it is a good phone :)

Naz, 18 Jun 2008try to update your windows if ure not using the apply imac.... moreAt times my backlight also does not come on after pressing the buttons.Also i've noticed that if i make a call i sometimes cannot end the call as the backlight is off and the buttons dont work.Has anyone else had the same problem?

oh did I forget to mention there is no sight of any word processing features, no notepad or anything. No type of word processor at all. Period.

god damn, after a good 48 hrs with this phone ive struck a few very bad notes. I've noticed that it has some extremely annoying software features a) you cant install ANY java applications, AT ALL. b) you have no voice dailing c) you are limited to only 20 memo's, tasks being 100 characters of detail in each(WHY SAMSUNG, WHY!?! living in the digital age with such annoying restrictions!?) d) 500 SMS entries, thats it. Gosh, I'm double thinking if I want to keep this phone or not now. I should have stuck with WM. :( It does sync well, sms very well and calls good aswell. It IS easy to use but im very annoyed about the lack java support.

i just bought it and have had it now for 3 hrs. Initially i was very frustrated setting it up on my comp but it all seems to work fine now. this phone although has some minor software flaws looks quite promising, will keep every1 up to date.

heeeeeey! i think this fone will rock other than the stupid internet browsing.. and the fact that it only has 4.5 hrs talk time.. i love the way it looks.. and the QWERTY keyboard..(!) if this helps please reply..

I think this sounds like a great fone... I'll probably get this fone and i hope i do because it has everything i want 4 my fone.. however, my dad thinks the price is a tad high; so do i.. i think it's worth it tho.. cuz my sis always has ours with her.. therefore i rarely get to use it, and yes, we have 2 SHARE one.. but soon my problem will be solved.. oh back to the fone.. i don't think the video is too great along with the internet.. but i can certainly deal with THAT.. QWERTY keypad must help alot, tho..

Dileep, 14 Apr 2008I purchased this phone in the USA. My carrier is AT&T. I am... morei have the same problem i found out it is because the f700 dosent have GSM 850 frequency also the 3g frequency that the f700 operates at (HSDPA 2100) dosent work on the at&t's HSDPA 850 / 1900 system so we are limited to the edge network

Please help. I have just bought this phone and I have been trying to download applications (like opera mini) and i getva unsupported content message. Is there updated software that will allow this? Is there a setting that needs to be changed?
