mixed bag so far.. lets see how it is.. as in user friendly.. samsung os is pretty bad usually..
maybe if the price it around 400$ it would be worth.

it's not perfect like n95. wifi is missing,and i need it,i have a wifi router at home. anyway it,s the 2nd mobile with 5mp on gsm market,it's thinner than n95,bigger display with touch screen,qwerty keyboard,and will be cheaper than n95 for sure. a good competitor,the 2nd phone in the gsm world after n95.good stuff!!

i wonder if the MESSAGE ALERT TONE CAN BE FINALLY CUSTOMIZED with this phone..hehe
no OS..some website says the interface is "adobe designed"..hopefully, it the new interface makes the following changes :
1. Any music file can be used as MESSAGE ALERT TONE.
2. tones RINGS & VIBRATES at the same time
3. Message Counter
4. Camera Flash can be used as torch (w/o activating the camera)
5. Better menu icons (Samsung has the worst menu layout)Their icons suck bigtime.
6. Just need to press one or two buttons to send a message.
Im still stuck with E890 but il be dispatching it anytime soon. Not going back to Samsung unless their non-OS phones dont improve the interface.

specifications posted are not official yet, wait for the official launch of this phone, I believe there will be changes in specification.

Don't hate the phone for it looking like iPhone, if you read the full info about the iPhone, it's actually powered by Samsung so in a way, any bad stuff you say about this can reflect on the outcome of the iPhone. Go research it if you don't believe! Many phones already look the same, it just happens that this phone resembles way too similar to the iPhone.

well~~this phone is really touch~~i am getting it~~yes~~no wlan~~but the phone have 7Mbps HSDPA which is a incredible high speed if the network provide offer it, i think thats why samsung didn't put wlan in this baby~~and the 5mpx~~X.X

lacking of WLAN makes web browsing quite dull, Proprietary OS makes it non- smartphone! and lack of third party applications, no EDGE.

And no EDGE either...
It LOOKS good, but spec-wise, I don't see how it's an "Apple iPhone" killer.
It's more of a digicam with phone functions.
