Samsung Focus S and Focus Flash first live shots emerge

20 October, 2011

Over a month has passed since these two were announced. Finally, we have some proper live shots of the Windows Phone 7.5 Mango running Samsung Focus S and Focus Flash for you.

The Samsung Focus S is the more upscale handset from the duo. We've seen it in a blurry shot before. With a 4.3" Super AMOLED Plus screen and an 8MP camera, it shares quite a few components with the Samsung Galaxy S II. Its profile is also almost the same. Interestingly enough, the Windows Phone cousin of the mighty I9100 does have a dedicated camera button - a notable omission in its Android relative. You can see its full spec sheet, along with official press shots here.

The Samsung Focus Flash is the more affordable alternative from the bunch. It is the U.S. version of the Omnia W. With a 3.7" Super AMOLED screen and a 5MP snapper on the back, it is not as imposing as the Focus S. You can see the specs of the device here.

Both devices are expected to hit AT&T shelves any moment now. However, we do not know their pricing of exact date of availability. As always, we'll keep you posted as soon as we find out.
