even if you are able to take pictures while it is opened you would only take a picture of yourself since the camera is rotates with the flip . . . notice that . . . hehehe . . .

Does anyone know for sure about the camera operation? Can you take pictures with the phone open as to hide your tacking a photo when it looks like you are typing a text message?

Anonymous, 22 Jun 2008for you to take pictures the phone must be closedI would make the assumption that the camera operates with the phone open or closed. If you look at the open image youll see the camera lense is pointing towards the user (I assume for self photos/video calling).
