hey guys, just wanna ask if this phone has a flashlight feature. just like in u600 where you just long press the volume rocker and its flash will shine, i've been trying to do so with my phone but it won't.
otherwise, its a great phone

does anybody in the philippines(manila) know any samsung service centers that can update my g600 firmware? im one of the few unfortunate owners who cant use mp3 as ringtone, cant also create a custom theme T_T

Its been 3 weeks I am searching for the best phone for me... and at last I found this G600! Everything I want in a phone is in this little phone and everything I don't want included in my phone is not here!I am buying this awesome phone! period!

a while ago i went back to Rogers here in Calgary, Alberta to ask if i can see and feel the G600 but the guy said there is no G600 in the whole of Canada!!! is this true? if so, why? i was so disapointed :(

I've just bought a new Samsung G600,I'm very happy with it but just have one question. I don't want to hear the keypads when I'm making a call, how do I silence the keypad. If I put it on silence does that mean my phone will vibrate on silent? I want to hear my phone ring but when using the keypads I want it silenced. Any answers will be appreciated.

To- Hans-j: the latest firmware has mp3 sms tones- hopefully ur language is supported.
To- Anymous- Supposedly there is a code to record conversations which I haven't found. Please post if you find anything.
MY QUESTION: Hello, I got a u600 and I'm very happy with it expect the mp3 ring is WAY too soft. The g600 actually has a speaker on it. Is it louder? I miss alot of calls on my u600 cuz outside in city noise it's too faint. How's the g600 ringer volume?

this is a really great phone it has really good image quality especially when you upload the photos to your desk top.

The Only Things I Really Like About This Phone Is The Battery Life I Finds Lasts Ages. I Never Turn My Phone Off And I Probably Only Charge My Phone Once A Week Maybe Less, The Battery Has Never Died On Me Since I've Had It Since March. The Other Thing I Like Is The 5.0 Mega Pix Cam Is Really Good I Just Find You Have To Keep Phone Really Still To Get A Decent Pic. Also Another Thing That Is Different For A Samsung Is That They Have Profiles Like A Nokia Which Is Easy To Change When You Change Environments, Also You Can Design Your Own Backgrounds Which Is Cool Too...
Things I Dislike Are... I Text Alot And I Use Predictive Text And It Never Saves Words You Add Which Drives Me Insane, Also It Feels Very Rickerty, It's Kinda Like Hollow And Doesn't Seem Like It Was Well Made And If You Have One You Know What I Mean.

In your opinion which one would you choose, Nokia 5610 or Samsung G600? And why? How is the battery performance of G600? Is it any good or do you have to charge it every two days?

ruud, 17 Jul 2008is this samsung G 600,have 3,5G connections??? i cant find ... moreit doesnt even have 3g dude... as you can see the little thing on top of the screen is a light, not a camera.

Someone please answer my three questions.
1)Can User record phone conversation with G600? If positive, then what is the method?
2)Can I save my sms in a PC?
3)How long the battery last under medium use (1hr talk, 10~12msg, 10~12 picture & 1hr radio)

After my D600, which I loved, I was stupid enough to buy a U700, which nearly made me crazy with its touch sensitive keys and paint peeling. Then I got myself a G600. It's a great phone, love it as much as my D600. It's almost perfect, but Samsung seem to have a policy of not making the 100 % perfect phone. That's why you can't choose from more than 4 rather boring message tones and not create your own...
