Bought this phone and i like it very much! Nice slim slide phone with a great camera and video camera. Menus are pratical and very fast. Only one doubt...any key to silence the incoming call??? Both Nokias and SE i had had this feature! I use it for work and i receive a lot of incoming calls i simply want to silence for a bit without having to reject the call. HELP please thkx
also wanted to put a cool theme but not that important...

that's because you changed the default storage to memory card.
you can only view your pictures in landscape mode when you save the image on the phone's memory.
btw thanks for the # key tip.

Just got this phone 3 days ago and I think it's great. I do have one question:
When I bought the phone I started taking pictures. When I checked them out I was able to view a full screen image simply by pressing #. After a while I changed some camera functions (resolution etc.) and now when I take pictures, I can't watch them full screen by using # key.
Can someone help me with this please?

ez, 08 Jul 2008how can i create a theme on my samsung g600? If i go to set... moreyou need to flash your g600 to the latest firmware... which is a hassle since you need a special cable to flash it and carefully read the firmware update guide.
with the latest firmware ive read that you can also change the sms tone to your prefered mp3.
if anyone in the philippines know any samsung service center where they can update this phone for me (free) please tell me.

well so far i am happy with my g600 an the best samsung every but 2 camaras would have been nice and 3g but i wil settel with the 5megapixel camara and fm recording an creating your own themes.the sounds are great but could have been harder

how can i create a theme on my samsung g600? If i go to settings - display settings - my theme there are only four ugly pre made themes and no option to create a new theme, does anyone have any solutions as to how to fix this?

coco176, 06 Jul 2008first of all can you have your photos for your wallpaper an... moreyup you can use your photos as wallpaper. you can even resize, crop, put a frame, use effects etc..

Ive just bought the g600 2days ago.I love features and everything abt it bt one small question.It takes nice pics bt wen i do take them and wen its time to view them i have turn the fone to its side-horizontally.Is there any way i can change this,please help..

mike (philippines), 03 Jul 2008i am so excited that i'll be bying one soon. but i really h... more*when viewing the pix on thumbnails, it slowed down for me with some large picture files.
*it cant show stored images in the memory on landscape mode, you cant even zoom
*I dropped my g600 (3-4feet high) once on a sandy surface and it got a few dents all over. when opened it slightly wobbles too, ofcourse only when i shake the phone.
*my 4mp camera is even sharper and produce less noise than g600 5mp.
*i got my g600 more than a month ago and still cant use mp3 as sms tone. there is no theme edit options too unlike the one in the review section of gsmarena.
*my g600 set has headset, usb cable, charger.

i am so excited that i'll be bying one soon. but i really have to confirm some.
does this phone doesnt slow down when browsing the image gallery?
can it show images stored in the memory card in landscape mode and can move to the next without going back to the image list?
for those who have bought and used it for a long time, did it show any signs of cheap construction, e.g. paint chipping, wobbly sliding mechanism(like u600)?
i know it's one of the cheapest 5 mega pixel camera phones in the market but does it really take good pics?
can you turn the automatic ambient sensor and shift to daylight saving?
have they (samsung) had already released g600s with the latest software that (as others say) can set mp3's to message tone?
what really are the contents of the box because some reviews have shown that it contained rich accesories as bluetooth earphone?
i really am interested in bying it even more, now that it had dropped to Php10,800 (about USD250), now thats really economical.

hi ive got g600 and i use a 8gig memory card and it works fine. so eat your heart out nokia samsung can have 8 gig memory aswell.
