hey rayman that "E" is for "edge", and it means that u have conection to the internet via edge and u can't turn it off

hello i currently have a samsung g600 but there is a little "E" on the top roght hand corner of my screen i found out it was the edge systyem and i don't know how to turn it off please let me know how to power off edge system thanks everyone cheers!

honestly, I don't know why everyone is bashing this phone. It's a GREAT phone. Anyone who disagrees is just way too picky, or they got the luck of the draw with a manufacturer defect.

I have had Nokia's for the better part of 6 years and was convinced by a sales person at MTN that this phone is better than a Nokia... NOT A CHANCE!!! I Hate it! I should have got the 6110 Navigator... Not a day goes by that I don't regret my decision.
Should you have a choice between a Samsung or a Nokia... Stick with NOKIA!

Highlights:
-Impressive camera quality. The option of ISO 800 is helpful, and different lighting settings help take even better pictures. You have to be able to manipulate the settings in order to get the best shot. It's a great camera. Perfect for catching the moments when you don't have the digi around.
-Speaker: a whole strip dedicated to a speaker. My previous phone, nokia 6126, had a little one in the corner. This speaker provides crisp clear sound, that's loud enough.
-Headphones: the headphones combined with the phone quality provides the best sound quality I've heard by far. In league with disgustingly awesome mp3 players, such as the samsung p2, which I own.
-Design: slim, sleek, light, smooth slider
-Functions: calculator, converter, calendar, games, etc. are pretty much loaded, very useful.
-Overall: very nice phone. Very Impressed.
Downsides?
-Camera: Optical zoom would have been nice. Only 5x digital zoom even though its 5mp is disappointing. The zoom transition isn't smooth. The video could be be 30fps instead of 15. The mic isn't the greatest. Although, I can't complain. It can take some ridiculously nice pictures.
-Music Player: wow...impressed. No downsides...for now.
-Ports: for headphone...the port cover seems to hang on by a thread, and poses as a threat to fall off.
-Missing: wi-fi
-Overall: theres a couple things lacking. But so minor, I can't even think of them right now. They're really small things that are for convenience really, but usually there are ways around them, or you don't really need it at all.
Rating:
Features (camera, music, etc.): 9.5/10
Quality (reception, conversation, etc.): 8.5/10
Design: 10/10
Function (menu, transitions, organization, etc.): 9/10
PS: I've had the problem with my phone frequently restarting the first day. But it turned out it was because I had used the memory card of my old phone without reformatting it. After that, no problems.

My light sensor doesn't work any more when brightess is set on automatic! Somebody with same problem? Please help!

i totally agree i have never dropped my phone. and yet after such little time the side colour is peeling and everytime i try to access my mp3 player it restarts my phone and i dont know why. I have had this phone just over a month...its poor quality for a samsung

ok well this phone i really really like..except i have had it for 3weeks nd the colour silver on the sides is like starting to just rub off..i never drop my phone nothing. very bad for a samsung.

Can anyone tell me how to reverse the order of names in the contact list pleae?
It always puts surname first and I can't change it!
