the bit below about pathetic battery and crashes and loose slider was reffering to n95 NOT g600,,sorry about that,,g600 is excellent in all these departments

have come from n95 to this,,fed up with pathetic battery and crashes plus it feels like the top slider is gonna slide off its that loose...
Had it since monday but not giving a full review yet but can answer some questions,,the connectors are not the same as d900 im afraid so the tv out cables dont fit the g600 from my d900,,i would say the battery is stronger than the d900,,and its different to operate a bit its taking me a bit to get used to...The screen is as gorgeous as ever and altho not a sexy design to look at its rock solid and light.After all the loads of phones ive had since 1998 this is looking to be one of the best and at the moment seems flawless and the screen looks better than the d900 as it fits better whereas the d900 looks lost in the big surround..Going to be checking properly mp3 player,cam and vid shortly,,tried video at CIF resolution and looks fine on screen but to try on tele will use sandisk v-mate since have no tv out cables yet,,im happy so far very much

Can someone please tell me if you can turn off the standby mode so the screen doesnt go blank when the slider is shut - or at least have a clock that scrolls down the screen. The phone doesnt even tell you if you have a text or missed call. Have checked the instructions and cannot see anything about this but I can't believe this setting would not be available.

just bought this phone today. It is not as loud as some of the phones, depends on the song realy. sound quality is rather nice. I didn't have much time to test the camera, but i better use digital camera than this phone.

I just got this phone today, it seems fine but not that exciting. Can anyone tell me if you can turn off the standby mode so the screen doesnt go totally blank when your not using it, it doesnt even tell you if you have a text or missed call etc. Please help, thanks in advance

I have the same thing concerning CB 200.
Mine came up after I moved all of my text messages from the SIM to the phone. Any idea why its appearing anyone rather than the contacts ? (I'm sure the 200 stands for how many texts the phone memory can hold)

Hi just got my moby and its great, but on my screen its got "New CB (200) and instead of contacts its got CB there instead, any ideas?? any help would be great,cheers.

MP3 player very very good...Sound is amasing. 10/10.
Light sensor is nice think by G600.
G600 and N95 are the best phones 2007.

Battery life 3 days with a lot phone calling, bluetooth-ing, picturing and video making. Better than my Ex D900. That's good!
Video is VGA 640x480, very good on my PC screen 19".
Caller profiles are now also here...normal, silent, vibracall, metting etc.
Themes creator...very nice. You can create your own themes (like SE).
A lot of options has got G600! Very good phone.

i have had the n95 n it kept crashing on me so ive now gone to the g600 i personaly i think the caera is just as gd the phne is just as good apart from the fact it hasnt got sat nav!!

Please can someone tell me if you can have the clock on the phone when it's shut. The screen just goes blank on mine as if the phone is turned off.

Hi. I got this phone last month and had it for 10 days before taking it back. The 5mp camera was very disappointing. My sony ericsson 2mp phone takes pics of a much better quality!! I could not seem to find the image stabilizer function and therefore all the pics did not seem as sharp, a bit blurry.
I also didnt think much of the battery life..approx 36 hours. Took it back and am undecided what to get with my credit note now!

im going to get the G600 but i have a few questions does the phone let you put your own rigntones on it such as the ones you put on to your phone from a computer and is the camera as good as the n95s

hello,its payday this friday and have selected this fone hopefully,i love samsungs and with xmas coming up the better video recording on this g600 suites all i need ,,but as posts below asks if anyone could give a battery report or compare it with d900 which i have it would be a great help.Also the d900 has not exactly superb mp3 playing but i think thats the headphones more than the actual player.
