oh yeh, when u use the pc software, u cant access the 1gb memory card, ie u cant transfer music/pics directly to it, u have to put it in the phone then transfer to the memory card, im guessing u can only use adapter in a memory card reader or is there something ive missed?

someone mentioned u can watch videos in landscape mode, how do u activate that?

Yes you can watch video in landscape mode, and yes i bought one these handset and it is the most solid user friend handset, not to mention reliable, nok and moto break down constantly, Samsung has always had the most reliable handsets and as for camera quality, all the reviews say the the G600 is the best camera out of all the 5MP phones . . . .

One of the best screens I've ever seen on a mobile.
Apart from that, the camera is pathetic (pixels mean nothing when compression is that high!!) and there are loads of little bugs like the T9 dictionary deletes all words the user has added when the handset is switched off!?

My U100 is 3.15M and it takes better pictures than G600...
G600 pictures size is 400-600kb, u100 is picture size 600-800kb.

Just read a review on www.mobile-review.com comparing the G600 camera against the Nokia N95 an the camera on the G600 does not seem to impress the reviewer,Samsung should have created a much better styled mobile as the handset quality looks really bad to me as Samsung before have made quality slide mobiles that look an are made with better quality

Just got this phone today. Excellent build quality and easy texting menus. Can't change to user preferred message tones (sucks). Menu is hard to navigate. Maybe I'm used to Sony?

Cracking phone! Got mine yesterday and at looong last Samsung have sorted out the software; auto save of sent SMS inc time/date info, and the display tells you who a received SMS is from without having to open it! Hurrah! Rings good 'n loud - at least as loud as my old Sony W850i. Not too impressed with the SMS notification tones though, or lack of smilies. Anybody know any sites that do proper themes for this phone?

Had this phone since Tuesday - screen has frozen a few times when I've been texting, and I had the key mapping. Why is the apostrophe in a sub menu rather than the 1 key?? Don't like the message tones that you have, and why can't you turn them off? The noise whne you've sent a message is annoying.
Be good if there were other dynamic backgrounds as well - the big ben view I have is crap.

hi, i already have the samsung E720 and im looking get this phone on contract. i was wondering whether anyone who has it already could tell me what the speaker is like. the one on my current phone is very poor at times and is the reason im changing, plus i really like this phone and it is offered by the same company i already have a contract with. thank you very much. x
