first look of this phone one would say it's another slider phone from samsung.. but i haven't noticed that the display is now 16 million colors! we know that samsung phones are so clear even though they are only 262k.. this one would definitely topple n95! i believe that its 3g because if you would look at the pictures it has a front camera at the top left... and its obvious that it has video calling therefore it has 3g. gsmarena should update the specs od this phone.

i know what u mean by u cant wait. i was due for an upgrade in may. but I WANT THIS PHONE!!!!!!!!so i am waiting.

i can,t wait till the samsung g600 comes out yeah your right the k800i is a bit on the heavy side its quite big too , well i phoned o2 today to find out when the g600 will be in stock they said sep 3rd so just over two weeks to go i can,t wait as ive just had to buy a new battery for my k800 as it stopped charging

Will this have the same stupid keylock as the Samsung U700 which I have just returned... the middle button - press it twice and it unlocks, keep pressing and it will send an SMS. Happened loads in my pocket! Would like it if not.

I too have a k800 and whilst it is a fantastic phone with great features it is on the heavy side.
The g600 will even have a bigger screen wihci means that I can watch movies and tv on it (hopefully at 30fps).

i will be getting this phone when it comes out , what fun do you currently have funguy ? i have a sony ericsson k800 at the moment but i fancy a change so can,t wait to get my hands on the samsung g600

In that case this is a fantastic phone and will finally move me away from the SE phones. Why should I wait another month for a phone that has near identical features but is a lot bigger and uglier!>?

OMG I JUST REALISED!!
If the battery is only 3hrs stand by like the D900, doesnt that mean... it'll last 2 days max?
Also the features are more powerful and require more battery to run, so therefore it'll last LESS than 2 days?

Personally i have more confidence in SE's camera phones more than Samsung's. Though this G600 is quite stunning, I've used samsungs before and they get quite boring after awhile, their phones are not just my type. Plus this G600 doesn't even have 3g which is what i need!

just 1 Drawback tho....Samsung Phone's have NO application's ...for e.g. Theme's Java App's ? ! ? ......this is 1 thing i neeed .......

@Andry: Not right! Its a light-sensor. That shows the user manual and the trailer of the G600 ;)

i think the round on top of the LCD is not a light sensor, it's a video-call camera. the size is too big for a light sensor.
if that's true, then G600 is a 3G phone...
