PPPP, 11 Feb 2009Kindly let me know how to put the phone on vibrate, i lost ... morego to menu > settings > sound profile > tap normal, not the radio button itself. it will give you the options to put it on vibrate and ring. Good Luck

benjo, 15 Feb 2009i thought this phone is good.because the features,the looks... moreI agree to benjo...I bought G800 but its not good. Sounds is low only up to 14 vol. pictures is the same as 3 megapixel of nokia.

and also the volume is too low.how samsung made like this?5 megapixel.very expensive phone but there's many features not good like nokia.my cousin's phone is always in his cabinet.i told him to sell it.he bought $352.For me NOKIA is still the best.

i thought this phone is good.because the features,the looks,etc.but when my cousin bought this phone a week ago,he regret.because the camera especially the camera flash is not that good like other 5 megapixel.and even if you compare to 2-3 megapixel.when my cousin bought this,there is no games.so i installed many games in his samsung g800 like my nokia do.but samsung g800 can't read .sis,.jar,.swf.ohhh gosh!this phone is boring.my cousin want to return or trade nokia or ericsson but the store don't like already.

Hey all, i have this phone for close to a month now and i think its totally a great phone. i dont care what other say about it looking big ect, to me its stylish and does a pretty good job!

Hi
I managed to find the code to make the volume louder and it works!!!
1) Type *#0002*28346#
2) It will bring up a menu:
[1] Load Params
[2] Dump Params
[3] Call Config
3) Press Back, and it will bring up another longer menu
4) Key in 3 to bring up SPK Config Menu
5) Then key in 4 to bring up AV-QTune(MP3) menu
6) Key in 1 to bring up SPK MP3 Vol. menu
7) Key in 6 to change the max. volume
8) Input 40 and press OK, it will change to 4.0db default max. volume is -3db. I wouldn't recommend higher than 6.0db because the sound will distort, anything lower will be fine.
9) Once done, press cancel to close the service menu and try to play a mp3 with max. volume. This volume apply for your MP3 Ringtones and Message tones.

The Samsung G800 is a really nice phone but the volume is very soft, both for the ringtones and trying to hear. Is there a code to make it louder? pls e-mail me gaylene@doubledelicious.co.za thank you
