Yess the c-light,i saw a picture to with the light burning,i don't have i either,i think it is ment to be that it isn't burning

it is good.. but i have been confused.!! my g800 "C" light is off always but i have seen some images from g800 while its light was on!!!! is my cellphone ok????!!!!

I got this phone last week, and I love it. My main thing with buying another samsung was not being able to change the message alert tone. Samsungs other phones the tones suck. But I read on here this phone can be change and I bought it. Yeah its a bit bulky I am used to little phones, but I have no problems with the features I like it alot. But does anyone no how to remove the text on the screan. I know normally with all samsungs you can. The text im talking about is the networks name. I hate it!

Have u ever had any camera?face detection is for camera to show u the face of who u will take a shot.by a square around any face it will show u the face.high end camera like Canon has this technology and samsung phone also has this.

yes,excel and word are supported,you can even see powerpoint on it,i tested myself

Does the G800 really support Word & Excel?I've checked on google and nowhere does it mention that it supports viewing of Word & Excel.Please assist urgently.Thnx.

you can set the ringtone to melody only/ringtone and vibration/vibrate and ring/or vibrate only.
and yes you can use mp3 tones as text message alerts.

hi. i intend on gettign this phone this week-end. i just want to knw if i am able to asign a ringtone as my msg alert? and how good is the sound quality on the phone? because the current crap samsung i have is so soft.... if anyone can please assist me on these i would be most greatfull. i dotn want to bind myself witha 2yr contract with a phone that is not very good. thank you...

to alex- yes the phone does have vibrate and ring at the same time
to alix- the pros of this phone is that it is very stylish. 3x optical zoom. 5 mp camera. very large screen. you can used secondary camera to take pictues. cons are that the phone is too thick. the camera picture quality is lower when you take a photo with flash. very laggy. and thats about it. its a very nice phone. i recomend you go for it

Im thinking about getting the Samsung however not sure if it is worth it, Ive just taken my SE K850 i bakc twice and am sick of it breaking, it wouldnt let me into any of my msgs, and it started turning itself off, and the lens sometimes wouldn't open after turning the camera on. I suggest you don't get the SE K850i. Apparently they have had problems with it before.
Can anyone tell me about the Samsung though?? the ins and outs? cons and pros?

Does this phone vibe and ring at the same time?? Have an old samsung that vibes first then rings. Its annoying? Can anyone please help?

i just got this phone today. i love it. even though i havent used it much. bud thing about it is that its a triband phone. and when you take a picture with flash. it lowers the quality of the picture. but overall this phone is great! i recondmend it ot everyone

what is the Main disadvantages of SAMSUNG G800?

on this phone you can not turn off t9 and nobody can not find you on bluetooth,but phone look is very good.i think that k850 is beter.speaker is very weak.

just got this phone today.
had it for 6 hours now.
very happy so far.
i was expecting a brick but it turns out to be a very good size. very slim.
feels solid when you hold it.
so i think it has at least 10 drops in it before breaking..
menu is easy to navigate.
phone mode is great. loud and clear.
speakers ok.
camera. very good. flash is great. took some photos in the basement and turns out very well. didnt change any settings. everything was auto.. I can definately see the difference 2 mega pixel makes comparing the pix to the ones i took with my old phone. "k800i, which was very good till the fifth drop. which killed it. and sand gets in to the external ports if you take it to the beach."
i have not charged the batery.
it was factory charge??
had about five 10mins calls, play around with it for a few hours. took over 100 photos.
the batery is still on full.
maybe it will last forever??? without a charge.
my conclusion.
this phone is great. if you want somthing that:
make calls, texts.
take nice club pics for facebook uploads and shit, with out having to carry a digital camera around.
thats what i want and thats what made me bought it.. maybe its good as an mp3 player too but i didnt get earphones with it. gotta buy that sht..
yeah. good phone. mine came with a free 2gig generic mem card.

I am tossing between the G800 and SE k850i. I want a phone that's stylish and has good battery life in it. The G800 probably beats the K850i in looks but i dont know bout the battery. Can someone tell me which fone is better for battery life?
