ok, i got this phone yesterday, it looks very sexy, but is kinda hard to slide open because of its sheer size. however, for this small package, the features you get are well worth it. it doesnt look like it would take a lot of abuse, but if you're careful with it, should be fine. i owned a samsung F300, and a D500 before that, and the screen is amazing. speakerphone could be a little bit louder tho.
texting is a breeze, with a big screen and big buttons.
the only bad thing that i've noticed so far is that you cant change the idle screen soft buttons, which really pisses me off bcuz i dont want a shortcut to the messages

Most networks don't even support 7.2 mbs yet so it theoretical at this point! It does support it but you might have to wait a year or more for them to upgrade.
Most networks might skip this upgrade altogether and go straight to the 3.9 G standard at 20 mhz.
SO don't buy this phone for the 7.2 HSDPA, its academic and you will never achieve this speed in the real world.

Somebody tell me please, once and for all, is this a 7.2 Mbps HSDPA-capable phone, or is it only 3.6 Mbps? Knowing that it is 7.2 is the only thing that keeps me from returning it. All official documentation I've seen lists it as 7.2-capable, though I've heard rumors that say otherwise.

I bought myself the G800, I love it, it really performs but yes, the battery life is very, but very poor. It will last you about 3-4days if you don't text too much and not taking photo's. But further on, its a great phone. Manufacturers should really take a look at the G800's battery, make it last longer.

I have just purchased this phone and i love it! the only negative is the awful battery life!! it will last forever if you dont use it but for someone that is constantly texting and ringing like myself its doesnt last me half the day.

I've bought this camera, because of it's 5 mp camera, but... only the close up photo's are sharp and the colors are poor [Magenta:-(..]
The quality of the video's is very poor; the sound also...

HI:D i'm planning to buy a new phone.
the one that
-can last really long, like years and still works great
-not easy to break when it falls, (coz im clumsy)
-has good memory
-does not hang. loads/sends/receives messages fast
-good signals (coz i go to diff places all the time)
-really handy/ NOT a burden
-takes good pictures, and not in a slow manner (really works like 5mp?)
-has long battery span (coz i go to diff places all the time)
-lightweight and slim(unfortunately i don't think this is so.)
-most especially, really worth the cost !!
soo,, do you guys think this phone suits what i'm looking for?? coz i've been stuck with n70 for like forever. ! T___T
and right now,, i think i really want samsung. coz nokia's beginning to suck like heck.
if this does not fit what im looking for, can you please tell me what does? :D thanks thanks !! only samsung as much as possible :)
