I dont like this phone, its to big and the display must be for people with eyesight problems, the camera was drab and the sound was poor, there was no face detection or document viewers, the only good thing was the video editing of which was great, the sliding mechanism was clunky and felt like it was going to break

Yes,you can choose from samsung tones or you can set your own music tone or things you like.

Can You have custom/mp3 MESSAGE/TEXT Tones????? I have a samsung d500 and you can not have any custom message/text tones, you only have the tones that came with the phone.

i bought this phone coz it has a nice design however it has low life battery specially when you are using the 5 mega pixel camera the battery drains quickly. hopefuly samsung will make a battery suited to this high end phone maybe 1,800 mah or higher will compensate the needs of this phone other than that this is a nice phone to posses.

This phone has AMAZING battery life! It can go for 3 days without charging while having undergone long conversations and lots of texting daily.
