Optic zoom Image quality just very2 little bit decreased while digital zoom quality decreased very2 significant..
Important note: g810 optic zoom makes pics a little bit darked while indoor usage but very2 useful at day n outdoor usage
2.yeah g810 image sharper but seems noisy compared to n82 image..u can see clearly at night photos..some people said that because carl zeiss optics lens very2 clear n samsung lens (se latest k850,c902 use samsung lens) still behind mr.zeiss ones..thx..hope u'll happy with ur decision,if i'm wrong i'm sorry it's just my opinion as n82 n g810 user

    2. is it right, that although samy g810 can take the picture sharper than n82, but it has noise more than n82? (sorry if my english isn't good)

      Thanks, anonymous and ars. I'm sure I'll be quite happy with the phone. I researched it fully before I made my decision. So, I know what to expect. ;)

          Bill, 13 Jan 2009I'm about to purchase a G810 and will probably have it by t... morego for samy.it's my outdoor fon when i'm in forest,i bought it in august but still can find any scratches on it,camera excellent just sensitive for settings,soft doesn't freeze so ofen as my previous weak bilt n95.xenon works stronger when push button just to half for a sec & then fully...take it!

              1. Daylight : g810 gives sharper pics (anti shake mode must on),night: n82 xenon flash much2 stronger than g810 n better pics
              2.screen brightness:g810 gives much2 vibrant,colourful,sharper, g810 wins although just 262k but yes 2.6 inch! Same as n95
              3.keypad:trust me! N82 keypad is disaster,not comfy,very2 annoying n creaks everywhere while g810 bigger n much2 comfy,solid use
              4.speaker: g810 use earpiece as speaker means: useless,n82 has stereo speaker but with low quality too,but much louder thn g810..
              5.macro mode:n82 same as g810 means = excelent,panorama : g810 has optical zoom 3x,very useful,gives excelent pics (wdr mode must on) while n82 just more than "enough"
              6.yes my black n82 has problem with upper speaker,stop working until now,ncc can't fix it..hiks
              7.indonesian is nokia n se fan boys! So if u wanna best resale value,after sales servs choose nokia or se,but if wanna try powerful s60 with better materials,design choose g810,,thx

                I'm about to purchase a G810 and will probably have it by the weekend. After a lot of research and comparison I've decided this is the multimedia phone for me.

                I've compared it to the Nokia N79, N82, N85, N95 8GB, N96 and 6220 Classic. The N79, N82, N85, N95 8GB and N96 don't offer the features and performance I'm after and, also, their build quality isn't as nice. And, they are all more expensive than the G810 here in New Zealand. While the 6220 is less expensive, it doesn't have Wifi. And, again, the form factor and build quality are less than desirable to me.

                I've look at Sony Ericsson's offering as well. And while I used to own an SE, and quite liked it, SE's phones always fall short in one way or another - be it the OS, small screen size, limited QVGA video recording or their use of proprietary memory cards.

                I've looked at LG's offerings too. But, for some reason, I just don't trust LG as a company and their phones feel cheap in my hands. I'm thinking of the LG Viewty when I say this. I've picked the thing up several times in the shops, and I swear it felt like some cheap plastic toy.

                While Samsung is still in the early stages of their Symbian offerings, and may not offer the remarkable add-on software of Nokia, the G810 offers the right balance of features, build quality and value for money to me. Also, third party software can make for what I might miss on a Nokia Symbian phone.

                So, I'm going to grab the G810 and see how it goes. I may regret doing so, but somehow, I doubt it. ;)

                  I just both g810 and I am not pleased, he have one speaker for talking and he uses same one for playing music, so it is not loud and have no bass at all.
                  Camere is uncredeble for video, but for photo Nokia is beter, xenon flash is smaller and not useble after 3m macro is OK and if it is realy near you can always use optical zoom.
                  PS: I used 6220clascomparr comparasion, he have the same camera like n82

                    for aris,..so coz you have both samy G810 and N82, i wanna ask you some questions :
                    1.how about camera both in lowlight or daylight between samy G810 and N82?
                    2.Brightness quality between samy G810 and N82?
                    3.Keypad between samy G810 and N82?
                    4.Sound quality of loudspeaker, about the clarity and the loudness between samy G810 and N82?
                    5.How about the ability of making macro and panorama photo mode, which is the best between samy G810 and N82?
                    6.is it right that one of the loudspeaker of the N82 is often no-sound?
                    7.the last, according to your opinion as an owner of samy G810 and N82, which is the best choice because in Indonesia (i'm from indonesian too)the price is almost same?
                    8. thx a lot for your kindness to answer my questions...peace....

                          ming ming, 12 Jan 2009i see. i know it's ur privacy. but, how if u buy a new num... moreI bought brand new samsung sgh g810 at solo grand mall, there's samsung partner shop named "megatrend cellular",, but there's no ready stock,so i ordered to them..after few days they called me
                          I have deep gray one,include usb charger,usb data cable,in-ear canal stereo earfone,but there's no microsd,so i must buy separately,n yes it cost 4 juta rupiah pas,
                          This week i'm very2 busy,coz testing in my study,maybe next two weeks i'll buy new number,,pliz,,be patient..okay?! hehe
