Its HUGE! The size of this phone and the G800 has really put me off getting them. What happened to the fairly small size of the D900, perfect size IMO.

I believe G810's camera sensor is exactly the same to the one used U900 + Samsung Optical Zoom lens. that makes N95/N82/N96 camera scared to it's fur despite it's large sensor. specs wise it's the best match for the three champs from the nokia camp.

g810 has mono speaker.

The G810 is the G810 it is not the G800 they are 2 complete different phones. Also the G810 does have a speaker if it has a built in hands-free it has to have some sort of speaker. Before just posting please do a little prior reading it helps reduce spam and wastage of space. So people with tasteful question could be answered. So to have offended anyone but seriously if you write something then its not to much to read something and if you have any concern with my comment take a look at the posting rules.
Oh yea N95 Awesome phone I really do hope the G810 does well but I was anticipating the SE W960 but it runs pretty slow and the menu is much like the W950 which i wasn't a real fan of. 8gb was good but it was still a bit slow for me anyways. The G810 and N96 will be interesting to see when the both come out.

I'm an SE loyalist tbh, yesterday i tested G800 on a samsung booth here in my country. and i was pleased with the camera performance of that phone like fast AF, fast saving and reliable Optical Zoom. although one thing i craved for the phone was a more decent UI G800 menu UI didn't change so much, it still resembles D900's although wallpaper animation is a nice add on with that, my gripes on samsung's unawareness on the refining the UI matter continued until i saw D880's Animated UI as well as the i450's S60 UI. i was pleased with the two phones. sadly i450 has no animation on the UI but at least the UI is much better looking than G800. now that Samsung announced G810 that is a hybrid between i450, i550 and G800 i will be very excited on how it works in reality. i love samsungs just like i loved SE. and given the U900's great performance during GSMArena's camera test against N95. i can assume G810 will head to head match N95 or N96's camera performance as well.
One thing i noticed on G800's optical zoom was it's unsmooth zooming. i hope G810 fixes this thing. but everything else in the camera is nice. UI just needs abit more touch like the one found in SE's Cybershot v2.0 but the features are splendid enough :) and with IcePower amp from Bang and Olufsen installed this will surely beat N95's sound quality :) but i don't think it can par to N81's Sound Chip :) never mind then.
As said in the specs sheet, the phone utilizes TI-OMAP 2430 CPU. which is the top end version on the TI-24xx series. the CPU integrates a dedicated Graphics chip just like in N95. the PowerVR Pro 3D accelerator which is responsible for the phone to be capable of recording VGA @ 30Fps video and encoding 5 megapixel images :)
@Kal, i'm wondering.. what S60 version does this phone uses? S60 v3.0? S60 3.1 or S60 3.2? GSMArena's spec sheets looks ambiguous :(

Im currently using the G800 and when i compare the 2 phones they are not as different perhaps for the screen size and Symbian capabilities, but other then that they are the same. but i have to admit the G810 is tempting. i'll think about changing my G800.

Every time i go to samsung site (im in uk)the site only list literature for fones that are out of date so cannot get any help,,if anyone knows different please say ,thanx
I cannot see speakers on the back so they could be on the side like d600..

according to gsmarena it will come out next month(hoping it's reliable) but wonder when it will be available in philippines. wish it wouldn't take that long.

i'm a nokia nseries supporter. but this time i look into this phone simply bcoz it's using symbian s60. futhermore, the functions are comprehensive, including 5 mgpx with xenon, 3x optical zoom, wifi and others. good jod, samsung. but 1 thing i gotta make sure... where is the speaker on the phone? is it using the same speaker that we use in making calls? since samsung used to make it's speaker this way, i'm worrying bout the sound quality.

Does anyone know for sure if this cell has autofocus in video rec. mode? If yes then is better then the Nokia N95/96 because thouse do not have autofocus nor manual, when recording video.

i get curious when i see tommy's readt ur comment well i did see mobile-review and fairly to say atleast it G810 beats K850 but not N95 well, i say its between N95 ang G810 now...
