    Virtual Proximity Sensor? LoL
    Pass. Storytime:


    *Bought an A03s last year.
    *Turns Double tap to wake feature on.
    *Pulls phone out of pocket because butt dialed someone and speaker was on.

    While doing tests on phone I found out that the screen detects for the double tap, NOT the proximity sensor. So when your lap double taps the phone, the screen turns on.

    ALSO

    The screen only 100% responds to thumbs. If you use index finger, you'll experience ghost touches. The smaller the finger, the less response.
    And no. The A03s doesn't have the option to INCREASE TOUCH SENSITIVITY.

    No other phone that I own does this.

    And no. This isn't just MY unit. My mom also has an A03s. I also went to a Samsung physical store to test their display unit. Same problem.


    Only with Samsung. Now add the knowledge, thanks to MrWhoseTheBoss and other YouTubers, that I can't store any Samsung phone in my house in fear of the battery exploding. Never again will I buy a Samsung phone. At least not again in a decade.

        When you are unlucky you can get robbed and your bank account can be cleared.
        Happened to me once since then i never came to use NFC again.
        Rathew will draw and swipe my card. At least here i have controll at my own money.

          Micro USB, Helio A22 (weaker version of P22), 2/32GB, 8MP rear camera, no NFC.
          This almighty combo for 120 euros.

            175 for 3/32 is ridiculous.
            Some xiaomi phones gives 6GB ram and 128GB storage at same price point many else chinese vendors too.
            Samsung is nothing just a plain robbery on a customer.

                Its pretty obvious they did this since majority of consumer dont like the hassle of going to some shop or having their phone broken apart just to replace batteries but instead just buy a new one which is equals to more money for the company not exclusive to samsung but others aswell.

                    Anonymous, 26 Sep 2022Rip removable batteries on budget phones.Removable batteries are trash, I've seen some big difference with non removable batteries, they lasted longer than the removable ones and has more capacity which means, depletion is barely noticeable

                              Quite cheap, great battery, 50MP camera, USB-C, and because it has Exynos instead of Snapdragon it will most likely have support for 4 years. (Snapdragon chipsets are unsupported after 3 years, sometimes only 2.5)

                              This phone is a good buy.
