byAlyx, 16 Feb 20242024 and still no fingerprint on A0x??True even Redmi A3 has one. This is a glaring oversight. But it seems like it is not available anyway in as many places as A04. Maybe A06 will have one, but for now, A05s is the lowest I‘d recommend from Samsung to anyone even though the processor still seems to be somewhat slow. But it has big cores, Fingerprint and NFC so it covers the basics at least.

Anonymous, 07 Feb 2024Used 33W charger is the 25W fast charger In my case, my 33W charger didn't work. Apparently, my previous charger used a proprietary charging tech (apparently there are many fast charging tech like SuperVooc Charging, USB Power Delivery) which this phone didn't work with. I had to get a proper 25 W charger(from Samsung) that supported USB PD standard.

My A05 6GB RAM was upgraded to full version A14/UI6 more than a week ago. It's no longer Core version.
This phone has a very impressive battery endurance.

One of the worst phones I've ever used, period.
Pros are is that it supports fast charging and has a great battery life thats it, cons are is that this phone literally does not have nfc which is really annoying and also I've had a lot of faults with it namely: my mobile data will not work unless I restart the phone, and also when I'm in a call with someone they can't hear me only when I switch my phone to loudspeaker whilst in the call, and also the phone wont charge sometimes, im thinking its a fault with the charger socket on the phone, one of the worst cheap phones I've ever wasted my money on

It's time for me to share my experience with the A05.
Over all It's a decent phone with decent performance and decent battery life.The phone gets hot and the battery drains fast if you over load it with tons of programs in the background especially if you're using it while it's on Android 13 and one ui 5.1 and has (4GB of ram wich is the variant we got in Africa,my region)I'm from south Africa by the way.
I see people complaining about it showing a charging notification while it's unplugged don't worry about it.it also happened to me too.Just update your phone to Android 14 one ui 6 and your battery notification problem will be solved and you should experience less battery drain and cooler temperatures.In my experience One ui 6 and Android 14 on this phone is pretty smooth for a phone with 4GB of ram,it definitely needs some polish but it's way better than one ui 5.1 based of Android 13.
Hope this was helpful and I hope you like the A05 as much as I do.Before buying please keep in mind it's a budget phone for Facebook, YouTube and maybe pubg mobile on the lowest settings,if you want to game make sure it has 6GB of ram and higher.
Oh right I forgot to tell you,in south Africa it comes with a 15w charger (it can take you from 0% to 54% in 1 hour)
