People these days nitpick over the absolute stupidest things, while ignoring other blatant issues and ways in which these big companies screw us over. Bunch of spoiled brats, indeed.
I was getting by with a 5 inch 480p display at a time when 720p displays were the standard in the mid-range and even 1080p was becoming more common. I also worked on a laptop with a 14 inch 1366x768 display till 2021.
A guy in our office bought an A06 a few days ago. He's getting by with no complaints so far. He uses it mostly for voice calling, the occasional youtube video, the occasional video call with his daughter, and quickly looking up something for work every now and then. For such basic use, a 720p display is more than fine. Heck, even I would get by with 720p.

Anonymous, 01 Feb 2025With 720p?🤣I don't think you understand how screen resolution works. People survived on 1024x768 and lower on much larger screens for decades. The fact that people complain about 720p on 5-7 inch devices proves just how selfish, bratty and entitled people are these days.

The question here is why they keep producing such low configuration, right? And haven't they analysed before making and tested it before launching? Knowing those parts will lead our mind to conclude that they actually make it as usable device, mostly as a phone with bonuses to also used it on some light apps like social media and games.

This phone is absolutely a response for those who needs cheap phone come from a well established manufacturer. One issue and the only was a refresh rate they gave for this phone which is limited to 60 Hz. As its predecessor user, I experienced suffering while scrolling almost on all apps that directed me to obtain a device with higher refresh rate. I was lucky to get what I required on an affordable phone plus higher RAM and Storage size. It was Xiaomi Redmi 14C. Surprisingly the price was the same as this Samsung Galaxy A06. I didn't mean to make a recommendation here but just sharing my experience that could be a help for others.

The demand for small phones isn't high enough for any company to bother making any.
