Samsung Galaxy A06 5G is coming, certification reveals

Samsung's Galaxy A06 launched in a 4G-only form back in August, and now it seems like the company is working on a 5G-capable model as well.

The Galaxy A06 5G has been certified by the Wi-Fi Alliance with the model number SM-A066B/DS. It will support dual-band Wi-Fi (2.4 GHz and 5 GHz) and will obviously run Android.

This will be the first handset in the A0x family to support 5G. Clearly it will use a low-end chipset, but which exact one is unknown right now.

Given the similar name, the A06 5G could keep some or most of the A06 4G's specs and just upgrade the SoC. We'll let you know when more details about it are outed.
