Django, 12 Jan 2024Tell that to Apple haters 😱Did it ever occur to you that there might be something Apple has done or does that causes them to be "haters"? And it's probably not the alphabet that makes up Apple's name.

atichko, 12 Jan 2024So tiering... No I used the word "apparently" and... moreMost people don't "love" or "hate" a brand just for the sake of it. But many people are happy or upset with decisions made by brands that affect their buying options.

How to activate the built in screen recorder for this phone or was it removed?

Anonymous, 12 Jan 2024So I understand you as saying the following: 1) Only India... moreSo tiering... No I used the word "apparently" and "don't know why" or "for some reason" India gets larger batteries while the rest gets smaller units. And I'm not an advocate for Samsung either nor am I a fanboy nor a hater. The have good things and bad things, just as all other brands. They make good and bad decisions, just as all others. These claims are always something personal, according to your own tastes and expectations. I have had good Samsung devices and also (very) bad ones just as with Xiaomi, Oppo, OnePlus, Apple and sadly also with Nokia (although HMD was never going to be the Nokia of old and even that brand had many, many rubbish devices)
Although I do like a pretzel from time to time (if I can find one where I live) my brains are functioning fine with a broad view on the world and open to things, opinions...
If you so much hate the policy of this brand, why do you invest time in posting things?
It seems yours has an issue reading what is being said but ok that can happen.
Maybe you understand it now instead of thinking that I'm trying to defend a brand or policy? If not, get in touch with them and ask them why they do things as they are doing. Good luck.

atichko, 11 Jan 2024Again complete besides the question but hey, go one. You... moreSo I understand you as saying the following:
                            1) Only India likes 6000mAh or 7000mAh batteries. Everyone else likes smaller batteries that don't last as long.
                            2) Paradoxically, everyone still believes "bigger is better". But only up to 5000mAh.

#1 on its own makes not the slightest bit of sense. With #2 it becomes crazy upon crazy.

You don't need to twist your mind into a pretzel to jusify Samsung's decisions, many of which are simply erratic and contain no wisdom behind them. There are many examples that illustrate this.

Anonymous, 11 Jan 2024Wtf samsung a15 same price with a24 with better spec and a2... moreIndeed, the A15 gives you a much better bang for your buck than the overpriced A25 (whose performance is only slightly better, but is much more expensive).

atichko, 11 Jan 2024Again complete besides the question but hey, go one. You... moreSo this cult of "bigger is better" only applies to 5000mAh batteries, but not the even better 6000 or 7000? Sorry, doesn't add up.

As for the definition of "compact" that you mentioned, I assume many people would be very happy if a new "compact budget" phone is produced with a midrange chip and the dimensions of the S23.

Wtf samsung a15 same price with a24 with better spec and a25 is expensive than a34 here in Saudi a34 is far way better than this new fu..k.. model they released Samsung is a scam already

Anonymous, 11 Jan 2024- A54: 6.4 display, 5000mAh battery, available (almost) eve... moreAgain complete besides the question but hey, go one. You'll get there...one day.
6.5 is big, 5000 mAh is big... Not the biggest but big and not compact at all. So yes, according to almost all manufacturers bigger is better, at least to them. And again, some markets like India want or need bigger batteries such as the 6000 and 7000 mAh units. Don't know why but it's like that while the rest gets a similar device with "only" 5000" mAh or less.

Anonymous, 11 Jan 2024And just like there's supposedly "no market"... moreI clearly don't think like that. I'm one of these forgotten people who crave for true compact phones, especially affordable ones and thus not only these premium bullshit ones that are overprized. You would have seen that if you would have read all my posts. I'm not preaching against compact phones, on the contrary, I want them. And again, what I posted is a reflection of someone on YouTube who explained the "why" in a language that makes sense. It isn't the bible but some of the people reacting in these posts do think that what is written is the truth and nothing but the truth, which it isn't of course. It's nothing more that a possible explanation for the "why" and it makes sense to me. I found back the link to that YouTube post: https://youtu.be/yKe1H5cIVDk?si=PZ2hPecm8shUHXNz. Check it out if you want.

Anonymous, 11 Jan 2024If small phones are supposedly so hard for manufacturers to... moreYou should contact them and all others instead of asking this question in this conversation. The "why" is their secret and again what I posted is a reflection of a YouTuber which made sense to me about the "why". By the S version I presume you mean the vanilla S23 and that one isn't a real compact phone. Those are the in between form factors. Bij compact I mean everything "below" 6 to 6.1 inch screens like the iPhone 12 and 13 mini and the Zenfone 9/10.
