Dimensity 6100+ is almost similar in terms of performance compared to mediatek helio g99 only pros is this A15 5g supports 5g which A24 4g doesn't but its useless in countries like Nepal and some other countries where 5g not available anyway most people use wifi but this A15 5g is 5g heavier and doesn't have the ois sensor and price difference is A15 5g is 12$ cheaper compared to A24 4g but i guess thats the reason Samsung didn't include ois on A15 5g but given 5g support,but performance same between dimensity 6100+ and mediatek helio g99.I would suggest those who don't need ois go with A15 5g those who need ois for stable video recording go with A24 4g but don't choose 4g ram variant go with 6gb variant.

I have to admit, this is one of the best mid/low range Samsung smart phone since the beginning. The fact that it has two variance means that people can choose between the four model and the 5G model, therefore pot putting Samsung in the position of being one of the best smart phone manufacturers of 2024. I go with Apple but I just think that this is one of the best phones.

This phone has proximity sensor issue. Used it without screen guard and cover, still problem persist. Not a good phone to buy.

Loco, 31 Jan 2024Your wrong. RAM plus doesn't decrease life on a phone.... moreNo, "RAM plus" or w/e people want to call it these days is also known as a "PAGEFILE" in Windows, "Swap" in Linux, etc.
It uses storage space as memory. RAM has countless I/O read and writes, and using storage for that will wear it down faster depending on how it's being used.
If you don't keep your phone for more than 2 years, then who cares? But if you are like me and like to repurpose / root / develop on Android phones then an old phone still has its use and it's a feature that will destroy the phone faster.
Don't fall for marketing. 4GB was put on there on purpose in the US market, so that you must have feature on so that the phone runs out of commission faster and you replace it sooner as most in the US "can afford to do so."
That's the real reason why phones from Samsung launch with inferior specs in the US market, and why international versions mysteriously don't work properly on all networks until you root them.
At any rate, the lack of true dual sim w/ microSD or "SIM 1 + sIM 2 + microSD" capability gives the phone a 3-star rating in my book. Because, again, they force you to use the device's storage and run it down IF you want to use two SIMs.

Samsung singapore website has outdated list of phones which support samsung pay. Went to samsung experience shop, guy claimed A25 5G is supported but not A15 5G. Can't experience since he can't unlock demo phone. Called samsung singapore support. Also claimed A25 5G & even A34 5G are not supported. Don't be fooled. Bought A15 5G. It supports samsung pay & even secure folder.

It's just a feature in case system needs more than what it has which it's an extremely rare cases. You can have ram plus on and that doesn't mean your using phone storage right away. It's only a feature and in rare cases it takes that percentage for ram. And again this doesn't effect phone life nor it's storage.

However, like the Galaxy A24, it may not have official support for Good Lock, so you should look for alternatives such as Fine Lock or Nice Lock.
