Samsung Galaxy A20s gets its last major update to One UI 3.1 based on Android 11

Users in Malaysia are reporting an OTA update is hitting their Samsung Galaxy A20s units carrying One UI 3.1 based on Android 11. And this marks the second and final major update for the Galaxy A20s that was released in 2019.

The firmware version is A207FXXU2CUFA and also bumps up the security patch to June 2021. All of the Android 11-intrinsic features are available along with some of the functionalities that One UI 3.1 brings. This includes a new UI design, better privacy control over apps, chat bubbles and overall better system optimization.

More markets should receive the update soon in the typical staged rollout. You might have to wait a couple of days before it hits your device too.

The new update has it where I can only make and receive calls in speaker mode. Cannot remove the update or downgrade back.

Full of shit android 11 got the Samsung a30 ? And since the update shit battery? use a video call on messenger battery goses from 25% to 5%. Battery drain on games . I use to have a all day battery on android 10 but android 11 last for 8 hours ... !...

First A series gen was A20 which was launched way before A20s
