Samsung has officially announced the fact that it's launching the Galaxy A22 5G in India on July 23. The 4G version is already available in the subcontinent, and the A22 5G was initially unveiled at the beginning of June.

Aside from the 5G support, the phone has a 6.6-inch 1080x2400 90 Hz TFT screen, the MediaTek Dimensity 700 chipset at the helm, 4/6/8GB of RAM, 64/128GB of expandable storage, a triple rear camera system (48 MP main, 5 MP ultrawide, 2 MP depth), an 8 MP selfie snapper, and a 5,000 mAh battery with 15W charging. It runs Android 11 with One UI Core 3.1 on top.

According to a rumor from a few days ago, it should be priced at INR 19,999 ($268 or €227 at the current exchange rates) if you get it with 6GB of RAM and 128GB of storage, while if you want the same amount of storage but 8GB of RAM you'll have to shell out INR 21,999 ($295 or €250).

Obviously the prices are unconfirmed as of yet, but it's only a couple of days until the official unveiling so we'll know for sure then.
