I still have the A25 as my back up phone. I chose this phone because it is one of the few remaining Samsung smartphone that offer micro SD slot and head phone jack. Overall the experience is okay. Definitely not recommended to use as your main phone. It dose have a bit of lag if requires more power.
Another 2 years left for major software update..

I've used this phone for about 8 months (early 2025) and at first it seems to preform ok, then later on even daily use and more demanding/extensive tasks it started lagging, getting hot, battery began to worsen, really frustrating. not a phone i would recommend even though it has sd card and 3.5mm jack. the speakers are excellent. finally i decided to replace it with the S24 and so far i'm glad i made this transition.

I'd genuinely rather use an A16. I had the 8GB of RAM model and it was complete e waste after updating to One UI 7. Battery drain and performance issues. Not worth 300 euro. I do like its photo quality and its video quality though.

Just a tip for owners of this phone--and any other phone really: if you encounter an unexpected battery drain with heat, then just restart the phone and then it "clears" itself. It could be a hardware issue but so far it's been obedient.
