Otherwise, it's about 8 hours sot (which is the worst I've ever got with a phone that has a 5000 mAH battery). The maybe a subsequent patch on One UI 5.1 will improve this a little...

Battery life was really poor on GSIs so I went back to stock, and it looks like Samsung didn't fix the battery issue.
For 5000 mAh and a 5nm chipset, the battery life is terrible (it used to be really good on One UI 4.1 and 5.0)

fran6325, 22 Apr 2023I use it as a daily since september and it was really slow ... moreI only get good battery life if I change the refresh rate to "Normal" - 60hz. I'd say this phone's biggest weakness right now (considering its a mid-ranger with 5000mAh battery) - is battery life.
Camera is great; performance is also really good. Maybe a subsequent update may optimize the battery life more with One UI 5.1?

I use it as a daily since september and it was really slow with One UI 4.1.
One UI 5 improved performance a bit but the battery lasted a LOT less which is surprising since the Exynos 1280 is a mid range chipset and it isn't even that bad.
Also, mine is 6/128 and I always had less than 2GB of RAM free.
Installed Pixel Experience 13 GSi on it and it runs perfect and it's really fast, and I now have Always on Display! (and I now usually have around 3.5GB of RAM free)
If you own any mid-range or low-end Samsung phone, install a cROM on it (or a GSi if you can't find any cROM)
It'll be a much better experience.

I bought this phone to replace my old Samsung note 7 Fan.
All I can say is after all the updates and trying everything to increase the speed of snapping photo or even games, this is my last Samsung. It is the worst and so slow in processing. Other applications work fine except Messenger where it say no connection found but other apps had no problem. Restarting the phone is the only cure. Even the fast charging does not work half the time. The Samsung usb port is another poor quality part. Seems my older Samsung had the same problem. Buy Samsung at your own risk.

absolute scrap this exynos processors. Why Samsung is putting in all mobiles except US models. It seems Samsung is taking all customers as granted. Apart from iPhone, there is no other competitor with decent Software support and all.

This phone for no legit reason just heats up, I'm not saying gaming, but just a simple task such as browsing and doing some social media apps it gets really toasty, Samsung's Exynos is really bad at handling temperature, whoever recommend this phone for gaming is bs too, no way in my experience of using this phone even close to decent gaming experience it's just that bad, if you really want A series just buy the A34 or A54, lower on budget then go for A14 or wait for A24

worst phone for gaming. It should not consider for even daily use as well. Very lagging with default settings. if you want some reliable exp then you have to switch off lot animations and other settings

I average over 8h sot mostly browsing and social media (on wifi). Pretty good but expected better (since my A23 can do over 11 h with the same conditions)

I've had it for 6 months. If you leave the 5g system on and have tiktok installed it drains the battery at a phenomenal rate. Speed is amazing, weight is solid, and gaming is amazing. Video clarity hd quality and gaming is sweet. Better than other versions without the 5g portion.

two months back bought it for 24k, it's a big mistake. If I would have wait for this two months, for the same price I might have get A34 which is better in the following areas
1) AOD
2) NFC
3) 120ghz refresh rate
4) Bigger screen size.
5) Better processor
6) Gets one more year SW upgrades

This phone is great - my only gripe is battery life isn't what expected: little over 8 hours sot just browsing and social media on wifi (my A23 4G will go over 11 hours)
