P, 29 May 2023It was hard to initially register my fingerprints. Once reg... more7.5 hour sot means 13% per hour and its not good. A23 is normal with bigger LCD screen. Before i had m31 with 18 hours sot using social media and normal usage. Almost 5% per hour with 20% brightness in power saving mode.

      Battery life is atrocious now. I get 7.5 hours sot now on wifi just browsing and social media. 30% brightness. My A23 4g gets over 11 hours sot under the same conditions...

        Does your A33 show something unusual around your finger when trying fingerprint scanner ?

          My a33 battery empties fast when is below 30%, about 18% per hour while i took some photos. It is on power saving mode. My phone worked about 1 month.
          Did anyone experience it ??

            Spuddie, 25 May 2023Very disappointed with the camera, picture quality very poo... moreYeah camera qulity in low light is not so good. I had m31 before and it has better camera. A33 pictures in low light looks like painting and has low details. Also my m31 front camera was better.

              Very disappointed with the camera, picture quality very poor better quality with my A5. Not impressed.

                In latest update 5.1, charging speed reduced drastically, It's reverted to 4yr old technology.

I didn't observe any battery drain issue. I felt performance also improved a bit. Though I don't use it for gaming.

                        When I'm using data connection (4G+) for some minutes for example download or upload continuously my phone heats too much about 38.5 C°
                        It's not normal for a 5nm chipset.

                                P, 15 May 2023I've had this update for a week - mine is the euro ma... moreI got this update, no specific change.my battery still draining fast. In screen off, battery drain fast while no app running in background. my phone is always in power saving mode.
                                My previous phone was samsung M31, it battery usage was almost half of A33. In screen on it was using 4% per hour in power saving mode. A33 had 1000 mAh less battery capacity but it uses at least twice battery tan m31.

                                  Got April security update of size 960mb. still no AOD in it. It seems Samsung will not provide AOD to this A33 in future also. Bad decision.
