I already (after 2 months of ownership) have 2 dead pixels on "super" amoled display. Avoid Samsung products, I learned the hard way. In your budget, look into some motorola phones from g series and examine the specs. Some of them have ips lcd panel with 1080p+ resolution and 120hz refresh rate. Also get at least snapdragon 695, nothing less. Avoid mediatek helio especially. Dimensity is okay, but good starting only from dimensity 1080. Sd 695 is still far from an ideal processor but it will do for daily tasks and casual use. That's about tips on low budget from me.

Please suggest, my budget is low, I am getting Galaxy A34 under warranty at price of new Realme P1. Which should be considered for at least 2 years for camera and battery.

I just noticed one semi-dead green pixel at the bottom right of my screen... It only displays black or green, no other color. It's not noticeable in daily use, only in close up, but it definitely bothers me knowing it's there. I wonder how long before I get green line screen issue, damn...
Don't get me wrong, phone is good. But, you just can't tell me oled display is not a planned obsolescence thing. I guess my next phone with be IPS LCD again... if I find one that is.

My phone is almost 5 months old and looks not the best condition with little cracks. I was amazed by the A55 built material, I wish I could wait 4 months and I made a wrong decision. I rate it #2 and A55 is #1

My friend has A54 as their second phone and after the recent updates it has micro stutters in daily tasks while browsing and scrolling + worse battery life, while A34 after recent updates has no stuttering at all and great battery life.

Firs... moreThis is a lie, I have both A34 and A5r4 despite of benchmark numbers, in really life A54 performs better than A34....dimensity 1080 is slow in cpu thna exynos 1380...the only good side of dimensity 1080 is gaming performance...the camera in A54 is perfectly good nowhere A34 mathc it...haptic feedbacks also good in A54 than A34

I can gladly say that after the latest security patch "1 April 2024" the screen on time of Galaxy A34 just slightly exceeded 14 hours screen of time (using 120hz, dark mode). Which means (considering just 2-3% battery drop over night) it lasted me almost 3 days without charging. That's why A34 is better than chinese phones. No fast charging in exchange of very long lasting battery. It's kind of funny, because I disabled all battery optimizations and it only made the battery life even better. I'm sure I wouldn't get such incredible results on any of the exynos Samsung A series.

It is only a subject for the companies in hopes to get your device broken faster, so that you need to replace it then. A34 is the golden spot, you get almost everything you need without overpaying that will last you a long time. Especially now, that the A35 has dropped and you can get massive discount on A34.

Jeracu, 17 Apr 2024Same hereNah, A34 is a lot better than A54.. No doubt about it. First time chipset is works better. Then the plastic back has a better grip than the A54 glass. The display is a bit bigger. Overall A34 is a very good phone. Trust me.
