Causal, 14 Jan 2023The A34 will unironically be better than the A54. Instea... moreVery True. From the limited reviews I've seen so far the Dimensity 1080 trashes the Exynos 1380 in performance. I'm not talking about benchmarks. More like everyday tasks. And according to one reviewer the A34 takes more natural looking, sometimes sharper photos than the 1380.

I am using this phone for 5 days everything is ok but battery draining is too fast I use normal Google surfing and read news(don't watch videos online or heavy use) but phone battery drains 1% in every 3 or 4 min sometimes in 2 min
Many times I turn off the screen but it drains automatically in 3 or 4 min I tried low brightness, lowered the refresh rate turned off always screen on, turned off Screensaver etc nothing worked

Free of ads if you disabled except at the Video app it can't be removed that's all..miui provide more features like it has dual apps clone features, free premium themes, full control over display settings like saturation, gamma while oneui provide "placebo performance updates" for 4-5 years to trick customers buying it for longer software support xD. It's like Xiaomi has more features to begin with so 3 years updates is enough but as for samsung they purposely saved up some features to stretch out their updates xD

You've gotta be kidding me, this is a great device, 8/256 GB, SD card, snappy and fast, huge screen... I am surprised by how well the Dimensity does the job. If a camera is not a deal breaker for you, then definetely you should go for it. I've tested even S23 ultra and honestly stopped thinking about it when I got this phone which costs 4 times less but does the job, battery excellent...

Anonymous, 05 Apr 2023Hello please is a better buy Galaxy A34 or Redmi Note 12 5g ?If you care about software support go for the A34, you get 4 yrs of android update and 5 for security. Not to mention oneui which is far superior than miui that operates xiaomi which is garbage. If not, go for redmi which is priced better

From the start of the setup I disabled it but somehow I get ads! Fort me or for everyone who asks advice from me for a smartphone no Xiaomi's!!!

I read a lot of negative comments about this device, so I decided to comment myself because I think they are unjustified. I got the A34 about a week ago, and so far the device is running flawless. I'm comming from my very old Galaxy J5 (2017), so obviously this device is a huge upgrade for me. Performance is buttery smooth in everyday apps and web browsing. I'm usually suspicious towards Mediatek chips, but I decided to take the risk with this one, and it was worth it. So far I haven't noticed ANY overheating/throttling, or even slight warming up regardless of what I'm doing. I'm playing some pretty basic games and yesterday even after an entire hour of gaming the device was not warm AT ALL. I don't know if it's because of the chip, or because Samsung did a miracle with the thermals, but I rate the thermals 10/10. Battery life is great as well. There is still no review on this device by GSMArena, but I'd say the battery endurance test will come somewhere between 110-130h based on my experience with my Galaxy J5 (2017), which has endurance rating of 97h. At the end of the day it comes down to personal preference, but for people who like One UI and generally dislike Chinese brands and stock Android, I'd say this device is a good choice. Also, it seems many people don't know, but most (if not all) Samsung phones are made in Vietnam, not in China and this model is not an exception, so that's another advantage.
