It is purely a business decision and it is also bad for the environment as they don't last long. They also have batteries which you have to charge which is not an issue on wired earphones.
Apple started this nonsense. Samsung tried to resist it for long but in the end they too removed it.

Of course the A34 isn't available in the US. They want us to get the A54, or a ridiculously overpriced S series phone. Someone tell Samsung that most of us aren't as rich as they are.
