Samsung Galaxy A36 and Galaxy A56 receiving stable One UI 8 update

The Samsung Galaxy A36 and Galaxy A56 are receiving the stable One UI 8 update in South Korea. This is an impressive turnaround, considering the One UI 8 beta program for both phones only began earlier this month.

According to reports, the Galaxy A36 5G’s Android 16-based stable One UI 8 update has the firmware version A366NKSU2BYI9. The update comes with the September 2025 Android security patch as well.

Currently, the update is only rolling out to users in South Korea. However, other regions should receive it in the coming weeks.

Meanwhile, the Galaxy A56 5G began receiving the stable One UI 8 update in South Korea earlier this week, with firmware version A566SKSU2BYI5.

One UI 8 includes several new improvements and features along with better security. Some system apps such as My Files and the Samsung Browser have also received redesigns.

1. then why did you buy another phone if you already have a working phone? 2. people now days have all sorts of banking apps on their phones, would you use a phone with old software while using banking apps?

Well, phones don't stop working after they stop being updated. I have a Xiaomi Mi3 that still works and hasn't been repaired either. Even its battery hasn't been replaced.
