Samsung Galaxy A52 5G confirmed to be water-resistant through new leaked render
The Samsung Galaxy A52 is a regular at the rumor mill, with leaks popping up every week in the past two months. One of them claimed the phone will be water-resistant, and today Evan Blass posted an official teaser, confirming the IP67 certification.
The Galaxy A52 will be the first Samsung midranger since 2017 with any sort of official protection against water ingress. In the past four years, we’ve seen nearly 50 new additions to the Galaxy A family, but none of them was certified for any sort of IP rating.
The new teaser also confirms once again a quad-cam setup on the back, an Infinity-O panel with the fingerprint scanner underneath and a flat screen - nothing unexpected from a midranger. Thanks to other leaks, we also expect a Snapdragon 750G chipset, a 4,500 mAh battery and 15W fast-charging.
