Samsung Galaxy A52 5G listed by Polish and German retailers at higher than expected price

The Samsung Galaxy A52 5G can’t stay out of the stores even though the official announcement is still a few days away – we think that will happen on March 17 (Wednesday) when the A52 will be unveiled alongside the Galaxy A72. Both phones are expected to come in 4G and 5G flavors.

And it is exactly the A52 5G that has cropped up on a second retailer, this time in Poland. The listing is still up, though the store removed the price.

It was PLN 1,900, which works out to €415, which is higher than expected – when the phone showed up in a Saudi retailer it cost the equivalent of €365. And the phone in Poland has 6 GB of RAM (and 128 GB storage), while the one in Saudi Arabia was an 8/128 GB unit. Both were the 5G version, we haven’t seen a price of the 4G one yet.

We did some digging and found the Galaxy A52 5G in a rather obvious place – Amazon Germany. There the price is higher still, €450. We don’t see how the RAM capacity, but the page claims that the phone can be dispatched in 2-3 days (something we very much doubt). Note that this listing is by a third-party seller, so it may not be 100% accurate.

Anyway, the Polish store confirms the specs that we’ve seen before – a 6.5” Super AMOLED display with 120 Hz refresh rate, 64 MP main + 8 MP ultra wide + 5 MP macro cameras (and a 2 MP depth sensor), 4,500 mAh battery with 25W fast charging and, of course, a 5G chipset, the Snapdragon 750G. The 4G version will be much of the same, except with a Snapdragon 720G instead.

While we only saw the Black version last time around, this leak also features the White and Purple versions of the Galaxy A52 5G. Besides Europe and Saudi Arabia, the A52 and A72 will be going to India as well.
